Brill purchase. Plus more difficult for the cat.
It is so hot and humid and I had a nap on the sofa earlier as I got very little sleep last night too.
The balance between doing what you like and saving//debt paying is tough. Hopefully you'll strike a good one for you that gives you the enjoyment and down time after work at the same time as not feeling guilty. X

If you can strike a balance between your riding, which you love, and saving, which is sensible,  that would be brilliant. Could you do 50/50? Life is too short and we never know what’s round the corner. Party tea with Prosecco sounds fabulous 🥂
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I think I need to get out more, every time I go in the bathroom and see my new linen basket it makes me smile 😂it's the little things 😀
Trying to sleep is a nightmare at the moment, I'm just glad I'm on holiday so I don't have to get up early,I'm hoping it will cool down a bit next week when I go back

My DD is giving me £300 a month for rent 🙀🙀so this is going into savings to do the work on the house, I just budget for riding out of the money I have for spending each month,I'm just thinking that if I added that to the savings it would build up faster,I would probably be miserable though so it's not a good idea, I just feel bad spending £30 to go riding for an hour when I have other things to do, it isa passion though and I do love it,if I could go more I would so I'm being responsible not using any of the £300 saving money to be honest 😀

I went to bed fairly early for me last night because I felt rough 😟took loads of painkillers and just laid on top of my bed naked with the window open and no covers on 😂😂( sorry TMI 😀) I didn't even shut my curtains so the non existent breeze could come through the window, I still couldn't sleep and just lay there watching the sky turning different colours as the night went on, I was sure at about 8ish that it was going to rain because it went very dark and a wind got up but nothing happened

Today I feel slightly better and not as tired as I should be, it's hot as hell again today so I haven't achieved much so far. I have stolen/ borrowed DDs fan from her bedroom and have that on in front of the settee so when I sit down I can cool off, we tried to buy another one yesterday but they were sold out 🙀 so far I've pegged out some washing that's just never ending, and cleaned the kitchen,I went to bed last night and left the kitchen in a mess so it looked awful this morning ,it looks lovely again now 😊
The cat has managed to tip some of his litter tray over so I need to clean that up now, I wasn't going to hoover today either, luckily I need to change the bag so can do that after. I am literally doing a job and then sitting in front of the fan until I cool down enough to do the next thing
I also took B outside and gave her a good brush, I have a silicone mitten with knobbly bits on it that really gets the hair out so I gave her a good going over with that, she is moulting so badly but is nice and shiny now,I think I collected enough hair to make another dog, its like tumbleweed rolling round the garden

Yay we have had rolling thunder for the last half an hour,it literally hasn't stopped,no lightening and only a small shower of rain but there is a nice little breeze blowing through the house now ,I went out and stood in the rain in my vest top and shorts.......it's was lovely. The cat is asleep on the sofa and B is pacing round the house, she keeps going to look out the back door to see what the noise is. I've not noticed her getting nervous around thunder but then we don't normally get big storms here anymore, the 🐓🐓are hiding under the hedge, I've tried telling them that's not the safest place to be but they just gave me the " you don't know what you're on about " look😀
Despite being too hot I've also managed to hoover the house and dust downstairs so everywhere looks civilised again now 😀I also stripped my bed and got that in the wash so have new sheets to look forward to tonight

    Morning,
I think you need to keep up the riding and not feel guilty about it. It is obviously something that you love and I would see it as an investment in your own mental health and well being.
It has been unbelievably hot and sleeping is difficult. Sorry about the pain as well.
I haven't bothered with the fan as it seems to just be pushing hot air around the room. I am lucky that my living room stays cool during the day if I keep the doors from the other rooms closed.
Have a lovely day today. Hopefully it is cooler where you are today. It is here. x

Definitely will be keeping it up 😊 the fan did help with the heat yesterday but it's gone back up to DDs room now, her room gets the sun all day and is always boiling
It was slightly cooler this morning but then warmed up again later on,it's lovely outside now 😊
