What a time for your oven to break, the repair man might be able to come and sort it, maybe it's just the element that had gone. Hopefully DD will be on an even keel for a while, so things will be normal at home for you . Hope the chicken are ok .
DD is not a happy bunny today because her computer has also broken, I've just found that our local repair shop is open so she will have to take it in there to see if they can fix it,luckily she has a laptop she can use for uni work 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
Hi everyone from a sunny Devon, it's such a nice day today that it's hard to believe the weather is supposed to get really cold at the weekend, the saying " ne'er cast a clout till May be out " is certainly right for this month, this is why I get annoyed at garden centres selling bedding plants in April ,it's far too soon
I phoned the oven guy and he is coming on Tuesday afternoon, it's going to cost £75 so not too bad at all, we can manage without an oven until Tuesday quite easily, I did want to bake a cake for work but that can't be helped,I've got to go to the shop later so will buy something to take instead,I was planning on a trip to town today to get shopping but I don't feel too good so I'm not going, I need dog food which I normally buy in Mr S but I will just have to get her something from Tesco down the road, she won't mind so long as she gets fed, I've postponed the shopping until Saturday instead
Im going to potter round at home, there isn't much to do though because DD hoovered everywhere yesterday, she also bathed B so she smells lovely and is all shiny, of course that meant the bathroom needed cleaning so DD did that as well, I was extremely grateful to get home from work to see what she had been up to 😀
Ive done one load of washing and pegged it out and I've stripped my bed so that in the machine now,I'm hoping to get that dried and back on my bed today, I'm a bit concerned about the area around the washing line though, all this rain over the last few days has made the weeds spring up, I really need to get out and sort my garden out,it's starting to look like the rain forest out there😂 all the trees and shrubs are really overgrown and badly need cutting back but lately every time the weather is good I've been too ill.
Im going to see how I feel later this afternoon and maybe go out and pull a few weeds up, I'm sure once I get started it would actually do me good, but I've got to work tomorrow so don't want to make it worse
I think when the lockdown is eased I'm going to have to seriously think about getting someone in just to give all the trees a really good haircut, god knows how much that will cost though

I've just spent a lovely afternoon weeding the garden round the washing line, it looks a lot better now,I have also spent lots of time cutting back brambles off the fence between mine and next doors garden, they were massive and were blocking the sun and wind from my washing line, I didn't realise they had gotten so big🙀, I have thoroughly enjoyed myself working out in the garden today and am now sitting in the sun on my patio with a nice coffee
Ive been planning while out in the garden, there is a very large shrub up by the washing line and it badly needs cutting back, so once I've got the brambles under control I'm going to give it the chop, that will cut out a lot of shade from the washing line,I've also temporarily used the chopped down brambles as a hedge to stop the🐓🐓escaping through a hole in the chicken wire, they aren't allowed up by the washing line because there is no fence right at the top of the garden so they could just wander off,I put a chicken wire fence along there which you cant see from the garden because there is a shed in front of it ,I didn't realise that it now has a hole until I turned round to find Babs standing behind me 😀so I've now blocked it off until I can get some more chicken fencing 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
I'm glad your pain levels dropped OBL, it's amazing how ill stress can make you feel I think and it obviously affects your fibromalgia (sorry for spelling).
I'm glad you can get someone out to mend your oven. I'm sure it's perfectly safe if you keep well away from them and clean things they've touched and they're probably glad of the business.
I hope Babs doesn't escape again 🤣 🐔.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I told Babs she is dicing with danger going up to the top of the garden and not to expect me to rescue her if a fox finds her, she was looking at me with an understanding look on her face, or she might have been thinking "why haven't you got any mealworms for me "Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
