How are things with your DD?
Have a lovely relaxing day today. x
DD is still not speaking to me and still stomping round the house like a surly teenager,I'm not sure how this is going to end to be honest,I will just wait and see 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Woke up to a grey drizzly day here today,I was going to go and do some bits in the garden but it will be too wet now, if it cheers up later I might go and do some weeding ,it does look like this is here for the day though 😟 I still have sewing to do though so will do that if the rain doesn't go away
I also have a small pile of ironing to do ( only ironing my things seeing as DD is still ignoring me 😳) so will go that before I do anything else
I did used to worry about living on my own before we fell out but having spent a week not speaking to anyone apart from people at work and my mum and dad yesterday I actually think I will be ok, obviously things are worse at the moment because we can't got out and see our friends but when life is going on as normal I'm usually quite busy so a bit of downtime at home is quite nice
I was planning on starting to go riding once a week just before the lockdown happened so as soon as the stables reopen I will start again
At some point I will be taking care of my DGC again so that takes up quite a bit of time
Im still working three days a week for at least the next three years, then I can do the retire and return thing and will be able to cut my hours again
Im going to be busy in the garden and crafting as well and I still have loads of decorating to do
DD1 has had news about her job now, she was supposed to go back to work on May the 7th but although she was in the same office it was a new job, they contacted her a few weeks ago to say that the job was no longer needed so they would be redeploying her, they didn't tell her what she would be doing or where she would be working, finally on Friday she had an email saying she will be working from home doing data cleansing ( what the hell is that ) so although she was looking forward to getting out of the house and back to her old team she is now happy that she hasn't got to go and work with people she doesn't know and if the nursery don't open yet it will make child care easier to work out,I'm not sure how she will manage working from home with a three year old and 10 month old though 🤷♀️obviously if they lift the lockdown restrictions I will be able to look after them but it will be tricky if they don't,I'm hoping the nursery will at least open so she has a couple of days that are child free 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
I can't believe your daughter is still not speaking to you! I thought I could be petty and hold a grudge, but there wasn't even a huge falling out was there?!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

Sorry about your daughter.
I hope your other daughter gets on fine with her job though. I couldn't imagine working from home either with two small children. I can't even take one phone call without her interrupting. Working a full day would be tricky.
I plan on riding again and looking forward to that. x

I got home a little while later and she was shut in her room, when she eventually came down she was slamming doors and stomping round then she went back up to her room and just didn't speak, she does do this if we have a row but I've never known her to carry it on for this long, I think I normally say something but I'm enjoying not being moaned at too much at the moment to do anything about it 😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

I phoned DD1 today to see how they are,I don't like using the phone so it was a big thing but I'm glad I phoned, the nursery where the DGC go is open on Wednesday and Thursday but the DGC can only go one day a week, so they will be in nursery on Wednesday,SIL is going to work Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday so DD will do the childcare on Monday and Tuesday, nursery on a Wednesday and then SIL will do the childcare on Thursday and Friday so DD can work on Wednesday,Thursday and Friday, they both get a day where they don't have the children and DD can work at home in peace on the Wednesday 😀hope that makes sense 😀my head is spinning now 😀
Of course this could all change after next weeks lockdown review, although I don't think much is going to change over the next couple of weeks to be honest

I don't think much will change over the next few weeks either. Lockdown is apparently working so lifting it too soon might just cause another influx.
I hope your DD manages to come out of it though. It must be unpleasant if there's tension in the house. I am anything for a quiet life like my dad, whereas my sister and mum are very opinionated and fiery. x

How uncanny that your DD sounds just like mine. I thought it was just me. She is like Mr SA who can be hard to get on with and nothing like me. She still lives at home and I can go a week without seeing or speaking to her. Occasionally she’s fine and chatty but most of the time she avoids me for reasons only known to her. She has MH issues but not using this as an excuse. By contrast my DS is lovely, absolutely nothing like her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Sorry to hear how things are with your DD.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

There isn't really any tension to speak of but I do feel very sad even though I joke about the peace and quiet, we do laugh a lot together when we are getting on, I'm going to have to say something to her if it carries on though,I just need to pick my time
Edited to say, I forgot to mention that she is a Pisces like her Dad and I am a Gemini,I don't think it's a good match to be honest so it doesn't help,I also have to take some blame because she is the product of her upbringing which wasn't always the best that it could have been due to mine and her dads relationshipOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945
