Good news Babs seems better. I’m the only one in our house who wipes their feet. I usually have grass, twigs and leaves on the floors, thankfully no carpets downstairs so easy to keep clean.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Happy weekend everyone, I'm now off until Monday so feeling relaxed today 😀
Im trying to sort my sleep out a bit so when I got home from work last night I had a shower and was in bed by 9.30 I was really tired though and I did sleep,I set my alarm for 9 so that would be the latest I woke up and I actually woke up at 8.30, it was nice to get an earlier start on the day, I got some washing done but didn't hang it out because the sky looked grim, I could have hung it out though because it hasn't rained all day yet🙄
After doing the washing I headed off into town, I was going to walk but I walked home last night and my hips are still playing up so I thought I had better get the bus, I managed to buy the bits I needed in Superdrug and get mum her hand gel, I was also naughty and bought a box of Linder chocolates for them both, they are my mums favourite so I knew she would appreciate them
After leaving mums I walked down to the local. Mr Ms to see what they had in store in the Quorn range and the answer was nothing I would eat🙄 the queue was massive, it looked like one of those queues you see at theme park rides, I decided to queue because I haven't got anywhere else to be, I wasn't in a hurry and the sun was shining😀the only bad side to the situation was that they shepherded us through the garden centre which is a genius stroke of marketing ( think small children at the till point eyeing up all the sweets but substitute adults looking longingly at all the tempting plants) I spent a good 10 minutes standing eying up a lovely standard rose and trying to figure out if it would be ok to take it on the bus 😀I decided against
I did buy the loo roll and wash powder I needed so it wasn't a wasted trip 😊
I have had a realisation today that I'm enjoying not having to rush anywhere and I'm taking my time to do everything I'm doing,I'm not watching the clock and I'm not worrying about doing things at a certain team when I'm at home, it's quite liberating really 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
That queue sounded terrible, OBL. As so many people are working from home, furloughed, etc, it seems strange that so many people are still choosing to shop at the weekends. Mr F was so pleased with himself when he was third in the queue on Thursday night. Even if the queues are moving quite steadily, it still feels off putting arriving & seeing that big line of people snaking right around the car park, doesn't it? If you lived nearer to me, I could have dropped a box of free plants at your gate. I grew extras as I always grow for my sis & give them to her at our Easter meet-up. Mr F's B-in-L was happy to take my extra tomatoes, peppers, chillies, aubs & cukes, but I tried putting free bedding plants at the end of my drive with a notice saying 'Please help yourself to some free plants if you would like some' and despite there being quite a lot of walkers going up our road on the way to the riverside footpaths, etc, there were absolutely no takers. I was so surprised! The word 'free' followed by the word 'plants' is one of my favourite combinations! Never mind, I decided to keep them & have found extra space.

I think once you get it in your head you can’t rush and just have to be patient it doesn’t seem so bad. Enjoy the rest of your weekend off 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I wish I lived nearer to you too 😊I could swap eggs for plants, that's a shame that no one took the plants you left out,one for my neighbours does this and they always go, mind you I haven't seen any lately so maybe they aren't doing it at the moment 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -

When I go shopping, I am so grateful to see eggs or flour I can’t resist a cheer. That said I have only seen flour once since the beginning of March! I get what you mean about the savvy marketing. I find it difficult to walk past the plant section.
Glad Babs is feeling better. I used to give my chickens an occasional tonic in their drinking water which I think helped. No chickens at the moment but hope to get some hatching eggs soon.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Our queues are hit and miss here, but I have noticed they are cleverly putting things out in the one way system as you go in to get rid of them.
How are things with your DD?
Have a lovely relaxing day today. x
