Are you finding it difficult to concentrate on books? Since the virus breakout I feel like I’ve been reading but not taking it in. It’s driving me nuts 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I hope DD realises that her being stressed is not your fault OBL. It is a stressful time. I think that older people have more life experience to cope with stressful situations and this can make them better at dealing with them sometimes.
A day reading a good book is a day well spent 🙂.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

ive never read any Agatha Christie novels, I have enjoyed the modern dramas on the tv recently although I understand they were tampered with,I do like a good mystery though so might have to have a lookOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
I've had a nice day today,I got up at 9.30 had a nice reviving shower followed by a leisurely breakfast, I took B for a nice walk through the fields, it's so peaceful there in the mornings, all you can hear are the birds twittering away, B seemed to enjoy herself too, she has been a bit stiff over the last week but today she trotted along quite happily,I sometimes wonder if she just gets bored of the same old walks so doesn't seem very enthusiastic, she was certainly up for it today though
I then came home to drop B off and grab my bag to go back to Boots for my prescription, there was a queue again but I didn't mind waiting because I had no where else to be, I also nipped into Mr T because I forgot Marge when I went shopping, then I crossed over to M&S to see if they had any decent veg because Mr S and Mr T were very low on stock when I went on Saturday
Our M&S food hall is downstairs, so you had to go in via the ground floor doors then go downstairs,I was surprised to be told when I got in the door that the ground floor was open but that you had to pay down in the food hall, they have made the ground floor into a smaller shop with a bit of everything in it, so there were clothes, undies and some homeware, I don't know how they are getting away with that and I was tempted to see if they had any loose trousers but felt guilty so didn't look,I'm happy to say I think I was the only person walking through that floor so people are behaving
The food hall was busier but still enough space not to bump into anyone,I managed to buy carrots, swede, purple sprouting broccoli bananas and a naughty apricot jam Swiss roll 😀
Im having nut roast with roast potatoes, roasted root veg and broccoli for tea, so I'm getting in some veg and some protein,I had egg on toast for lunch and a handful of cashew nuts for a snack
I hoovered downstairs as well this afternoon and I've got a load of washing in the machine, the Sky has gone very dark though so I won't be pegging it outOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946 -

Your walk with B sounds lovely and I'm glad you managed to get the food you needed 🙂. Are you at work tomorrow?
I love Agatha Christie. The stories are very of their time, but they're really good murder mysteries and great escapism. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I used to love going to see Agatha Christie plays at the theatre with my mum. They do a summer season of them at our town’s theatre every year.
Could you get your prescription delivered by Boots, they do a delivery service. Tried to get Mr SA’s through them but doctors refused it.
I used to love those apricot jam Swiss rolls from M&S, my mum used to buy them, didn’t realise you could still get them, yummy 😋
