Sun_Addict said:How uncanny that your DD sounds just like mine. I thought it was just me. She is like Mr SA who can be hard to get on with and nothing like me. She still lives at home and I can go a week without seeing or speaking to her. Occasionally she’s fine and chatty but most of the time she avoids me for reasons only known to her. She has MH issues but not using this as an excuse. By contrast my DS is lovely, absolutely nothing like her.
Edited to say sorry I ended my post before I had finished but she came downstairs 🙀and I decided to go and sort it out, we are talking again now 😊she does have depression and anxiety so that also impacts on how she reacts but then so do I so that doesn't help either 🙄Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8946 -

I'm really glad you have sorted it out. Hopefully the next one is a long way off.
My mum hasn't learnt to bite her tongue at all and never will, which is the cause of a lot of problems as she is constantly interfering.
Have a lovey day today. Hope Babs is still ok?

I'm really glad you've made it up with DD
. DS2 rarely comes out of his room but he's much less moody than he used to be and although sometimes we treat on eggshells a bit to keep on good terms with him because he has mental health issues, he's much less easily offended than he used to be and he does try hard to be friendly to us now.

Hello from a very wet and windy Devon 😟
Yesterday was a work day so I was out of the house all day,I was in so much pain all day though so it was very unpleasant,I managed to get a phone appointment with a GP at my practice this morning but it was a waste of time as usual,I was on the phone for less than five minutes,he asked me my symptoms and told me it's part of the Fibromyalgia,I asked if I could at least have a blood test just to check there isn't anything else going on and he said no there isn't any point, so that's that 😟
Im not sure what my plans are for today, it's chucking it down so inside jobs only, I might do some more sewing if my fingers stop hurting, this is what finishes me off, if I can't even do any crafting or hobbies then what is the point,I go to work in agony ,come home, go to bed have a day off where I can't do much then it's back to work to endure the whole thing again, my pain levels are now as bad as when I was first diagnosed, last night I had to pull myself up the garden steps by the handrail because I couldn't walk up them by myself, I'm 56 years old but my body is like a 96 year olds 😟

Sending you some gentle hugs, it sounds horrible. I hope you get some relief soon.
On the positive side, it's good to hear you and your DD are speaking again. Sounds as though you chose your moment well.

I'm sorry it's so bad OBL. Chronic pain isn't nice and with everything going on it must be even worse.
Hopefully you can enjoy some of your day off xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Sorry to hear you're in so much pain, the GP didn't sound very helpful, you must go back if things worsen or don't settle. I'm quite wary of being fobbed off by GPs since Mr SA's diagnosis, they tried to say it was stress and I had to insist it was a brain tumour.
Fingers crossed it will be short-lived and you get some relief. Would you be able to take the day off work tomorrow if things don't improve, you can't work if you're in pain.
Take care and get some rest xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Sorry you're in pain and feeling low OBL. I don't think our bad weather today helps and your GP being so unhelpful doesn't help your mood much
. I hope you get some rest and feel better soon.
