My journey to a debt free life

It's a lovely warm windy day here in my corner of Devon, perfect for getting the washing dry,I've got some on the line flapping in the wind
Im out cutting the grass in the front garden today, it has got very long so I'm glad I've got the energy and time to get it cut,I've never let my garden get this neglected before and was itching to get out there and tidy it up, I cut loads more brambles down yesterday so that has opened up the space where the washing line is, it's lovely and windy up there now
I'm concentrating on the front today though as that's the but all the neighbours can see 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
It's just windy and wet here!
I think you're right OBL but hope that companies do see how it can work and now do work that way. It makes sense that they should. I've heard some big companies say they don't need the huge offices they've got so will cut down on it now.

I think a lot of companies will have more employees working from home when they see how much money it's saved them. I bet there will be a fair few folks not wanting to go back to commuting either.
Talking of birds in the garden, I have a real problem with collared doves pooping everywhere plus eating all the bird seed, they are so greedy and only appear to be afraid of the robins who see them off. Mr SA has to hose down the garden every day to get rid of the poop.

I've had a very busy day today but the front garden is now back to normal and looking lovely, I have a bit of tidying to do where the Helebores are but you can't really see unless you get really close, I'm so pleased I've finally managed to get back out there and sort it out, hopefully I will be able to keep on top of it now
Of course this evening I watched the announcement by Boris and I must say I'm confused by some of the rules, they don't make sense to me, he is telling people to go back to work but then didn't say that grandparents could look after their grandchildren, a lot of working people depend on grandparents for childcare so what should they do, we can go and sit in the park but can't invite our families round to our homes to visit us in private
Im actually going to carry on as I have been for the last 6 weeks,I'm still going to limit the amount of time I go out, I'm already going out more than the average person by going to work and seeing as nothing is actually open there's no where to go anyway 😊
Im working tomorrow but don't have to be there until 12 so I don't have to get up early, then I have another two days off 🎉🎉Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
I'm going to carry on as I have been, too, though as we live right on the edge of town and it's easy to get to farmland, I might take advantage of a second piece of exercise, that's if it was permitted? I got too confused about people being urged to go back to work, but without using public transport if possible, and still social distancing.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I have just written the same on Hairy's diary. They only have some year groups returning, so what about the parents of others? Also what about the key worker's children if they are not in those year groups either- are they still allowed to go? It just does not make any sense at all.
I am carrying on as normal. I am not due in work until next week anyway and DD still has her school place then. x

Up early today and have cleaned downstairs, the bath towels are in the machine and it's a lovely sunny /windy day so they can go outside to dry
The oven man has just been and fixed my oven, it only took about 20 minutes and he was very good at socially distancing himself,he told where he had touched things so I could wipe it down and he washed his hands before he left 😀
Ive just got upstairs to hoover and the house is done, I am then planning on doing some bits on the patio while the sun is out, the lilac needs trimming and the thousands of seed pods that have fallen off the trees need sweeping up so they don't get trodden back into the house,I do love my trees but they don't half make a mess everywhereOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945
