I completely agree ES. Like you I'm a rule follower normally, but these rules defy logic. The government must have very illogical minds if they think the current rules make sense 🙄. But as you say the changes are more about the economy than safety! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Of course this evening I watched the announcement by Boris and I must say I'm confused by some of the rules, they don't make sense to me, he is telling people to go back to work but then didn't say that grandparents could look after their grandchildren, a lot of working people depend on grandparents for childcare so what should they do, we can go and sit in the park but can't invite our families round to our homes to visit us in private
Im actually going to carry on as I have been for the last 6 weeks,I'm still going to limit the amount of time I go out, I'm already going out more than the average person by going to work and seeing as nothing is actually open there's no where to go anyway 😊
From now on we are just using a common sense approach to limit our exposure but I will be seeing a friend in our or her garden rather than sitting on a possibly contaminated park bench amongst other people. When our DD comes round they sit in our garden and we socially distance and when she drops the girls off she drops them at the door and does not come in. Lots of people I know are starting to risk assess things for themselves now rather than following the rules full stop which seem to be more about kick starting the economy than keeping people safe.

Hi everyone, I'm just updating before heading off to bed, I've been sneezing all day and now have a runny nose so think I might be brewing a cold, I'm hoping it will be the usual feel rubbish go to bed and wake up fine again
I was off yesterday and went to do some shopping, then when I got home I fully intended to do some sewing but I had started reading a book the day before and I couldn't put it down,I spent the whole afternoon until 1am this morning reading and finished it before falling asleep until 5.30 am when I had to get up for work 🙀
Im off again tomorrow and do have plans to do some more tidying further up the garden but I will have to see if I feel ok when I wake up, I also have ironing and hoovering to do but that will have to wait or DD might do it.
Speaking of DD, she has applied for a job at my hospital. The closing date was yesterday so we will just have to wait and see if she gets an interview, I'm keeping everything crossed and hoping for success as she deserves this, she does want to stay here and work for at least a year so she can save some money to move out, then she is looking at Bristol or around that area, nothing is coming up there at the moment and she would rather move when she has more funds behind her, so far she has saved £2000 so she is doing ok

That's an amazing amount of saving. Good luck with the job for her.
Glad you have today off so you can recover from the cold and late night. Maybe you can get some sewing done again today?
It does seem madness. They are happy to let my DD go to school and mix with a lot of other children who have key worker parents in all areas (including the hospital wards with Covid) but I can't ask my mum and dad to have her where I am limiting her contact with others. I know I am going out to work, but surely the risk is higher with her in school? It just doesn't make any sense. She is in school this week, but next time I am in, I might just ask my parents to have her. x

Definitely getting a cold🙁my throat is sore today and Ive gotta wheezy chest, it could be hay fever but I'm not sure, I am sooooo tired I didn't wake up until 10.30 this morning and could have easily stayed in bed
So far today I have had a shower, eaten breakfast, walked B and pegged out some washing, the kitchen needs tidying and I should hoover but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to get the hoover out
Ive started another book so might read that or do some sewing, I've started watching a series on Netflix called Virgin River, it's a bit corny but just the right thing at the moment so I'm going to watch another episode of that tonight, I'm also watching The A Word on a Tuesday, they are actually streaming the whole series on iplayer but I'm making myself wait for the weekly episode, it's been good so far
Right Im off to tidy my kitchen 😫Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

Hi everyone from a can't make up its mind day in Devon, it's sunny then cloudy then sunny 🙄it will probably end up raining because my window cleaner turned up this morning 😀
Yesterday I was working and we were actually quite busy, it was good to be honest as it felt more like normal times
Today I didn't wake up until 10 am 🙄 I'm sooooo tired lately , I've still got a sore throat and a wheezy chest but I'm beginning to think it's just hay fever ( 😂😂😂 laughing because auto correct just changed changed hay fever to Hairy fever 😂😂😂) I keep forgetting to take my allergy tablets,I've made sure I've taken one today so if it is hay fever it will go away, I am quite achy today but that's normal for me so I shall just try to ignore it as usual
I don't have any pressing jobs to do today so will potter about at home and just see what crops up, I've got my bedding in the machine so can page that out shortly and I must take B out because she is sitting here with all her legs crossed 🙀

I've just been and checked my bank to make sure the last bill has come out and I've managed to squirrel away another £100 to my savings, I wasn't sure if this would be possible this month but it seems not being allowed to go anywhere apart from a walk and to work is saving me lots of money 😀🎉😀🎉just off to update my signatureOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945
