It's such a lovely day here today, the sun is shining and it's actually quite warm,I'm siting here with my door open while a nice slow breeze wafts through the house, we have just taken B out for her walk which we combined with a trip to the local shop so we don't have to go out again, I needed some heartburn tablets but they didn't have the ones I use so I will try the Boots chemist at work tomorrow, this is a prescription medicine that I am slowly weaning off, the problem is if you come off it too quickly you get rebound symptoms which is what I think I happening now, I could go back to my gp but don't want to because they have enough to deal with at the moment and I can buy this over the counter in a lower dose so I will do that
I haven't got any plans today and don't really know what to do with myself, I might read my book for a bit, I should have been seeing the DGC today but of course that is now not happening, there was a silver lining to that though because it meant I could have a lie in this morning 😀
I've just had a visitor as well, not a person but next doors cat, she spends all her time trying to get into our house and we have been able to keep her out through the winter but of course now the doors open she has free rein to come and go, our cat isn't too impressed with this and keeps growling at her but he doesn't do anything to chase her off,I think he has a secret crush, B just lets her in and I'm convinced she thinks we have just got a new cat 😂

My friend once said if someone says something mean in front of people which catches you off guard, just say ‘what do you mean by that’ then watch them get embarrassed when having to explain in front of everyone, they are not so clever then. Sorry just read to diary and want to say Hi, hope your feeling better soon xFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Im also a bit worried tonight because my chest has got really wheezy over the course of the evening,I had to use the emergency inhaler that my gp gave me, I really hope it's just the cold I have had for weeks and not the dreaded lurgy 😟Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I've had a lovely relaxed day today,I've just chilled out all day,all my jobs were done apart from the daily cleaning out of the 🐓🐓so I've done that,I need to pop back out there though because their ladder keeps falling down when they come out of their coop so I need to tie it up,I've found some garden twine so will go and do it in a minute 😊I can't have my ladies falling off their ladder 😀
I also forgot to say I got some leeks at the shop so on Thursday I am making my favourite Leek Croustade 😍😍 I've got the last of the honey and mustard chicken for tea and I'm taking a jacket spud to work tomorrow ,I've also just remembered I have pudding rice in the cupboard so in a minute I'm going to make a rice pudding with some oat milk we bought by mistake,I don't like it in drinks or anything but I reckon it will taste ok in a rice pudding
Now we are only allowed out at limited times im thinking I might make my journey to work and back my time to get outside for a walk, I already walk part of the way in the morning and then get the bus the rest of the way so will carry on doing this but I think I will start to walk all the way home instead of just to town and then getting the bus, this will be good exercise and will cut down my time spent on public transport
I also had a bit of a wobble in the finance dept and caught myself indulging in possible not needed online shopping so I've nipped that in the bud, I want to carry on being financially frugal because who knows how long this is going to go on for,my plan is to not come out of this an overweight broke alcoholic 😂 of course I'm not going to deprive myself but I'm also not going to go off the rails either 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
You definitely don't want to come out of this an overweight, broke, alcoholic... although I'm sure many people will 🤣🤣🤣.
I'm craving a large Costalot latte at the moment 😭.
It's a good idea to combine walking to and from work with exercise. I could do that but I may want to go to the park too as I only work lunchtimes. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

OBL - Re your rice pudding.... I was once sent a free carton of hazelnut milk to try. I didn't like it in drinks, or indeed in anything, so because we aim for zero food waste, I made a rice pudding with it & it was fine. Even Mr F ate it & he despises every milk substitute he's ever tried. I did sprinkle plenty of nutmeg on his, though.
