I love Lush, OBL. I think they do some unusual perfumes & products generally. I think my favourite is one of the bubble bath bars - 'Blue skies & white fluffy clouds'. I'm sure you're supposed to use more than I do, but I just break little pieces of for each bath when I have some, because I like to make it last. There is also a pot of body cream which they do (can't remember the name) but it is lovely to use, all very natural ingredients & just sinks straight in.

Sadly I can't use the Bath products because they all irritate my skin,I use Dream Cream as a body moisturiser sometimes and I have the Sleepy body cream that I bought to help me sleep, it does work but I can't put it on all over because i itch if I do :( I put it on my feet before bed in the hope that it's being absorbed by my reflexology points :rotfl:

I've been stuck in many a traffic jam trying to get in and out of your town OBL!

I went to a Christmas tree festival in a church yesterday too :xmastree:. You sound a lot more organised tham me. I'm getting a bit anxious about Christmas as I'm so unprepared apart from putting up the decorations.

How funny that you were at a Xmas tree festival too, mine was in Crediton, wouldn't it be funny if we were at the same one, if you ever come into my city any time let me know and we can meet for a coffee :)
I think I'm panicking about Christmas because we have a count down on the wall at work and every time I look at it I get palpitations:rotfl:

Yesterday at work was like Armageddon,I really was glad to get home and for the first time in a long time I got the bus all the way home,I was actually having trouble putting one foot in front of the other when I left, weirdly I enjoy days like that because I work well under pressure so I like to be a bit up against it and it makes the time whizz by,I am however hoping for a calmer day on Monday

This morning I got up and decided I would go unto town in the end to buy the last minute bits for DD1, I've now finished theirs and just have my mum and dad to sort out,I've got until the 18 th of December to decide what to buy them and buy it so not too bad, I'm going to the Christmas market on Thursday........I really really am going on this day,I'm determined ........:rotfl:
Sadly the weather has turned wet again so I expect we might get a bit soggy like we did last year, I was hoping for crisp and cold but never mind,I got home just in time for it to chuck it down today so that was lucky

I've also tidied my craft desk and put all the stuff in the loft that needed to go back up,I've cleaned Eric out too so that's him sorted for another week,I'm just having a cup of tea before polish and hoover the house

Tonight I am planning on sewing for the evening while I listen to some podcasts

It would be good to meet up for coffee so I'll let you know if I'm heading your way :). My Christmas tree festival was at a different place but it would have been funny if it had been the same one :rotfl:.

A Christmas count down would definitely make me panic

Today we had a massive hail storm after getting home from the shops . While we were out it varied from sunshine to heavy rain showers!

I'm glad you've got your craft desk tidied and Eric is all snug in a clean cage (his name always makes me chuckle :rotfl:)

  • I love Dream Cream too. I have been using it for about 20 years now and have never looked back. It is the only thing I trust. Even on little one.

I think it is better than after sun as well with it being natural and having camomile in it as well.

Hope tomorrow is calmer for you. x

Imagine walking past each other totally unaware :rotfl:
Eric really should have been called Vlad ( The Impaler ) because he still savages me if I try to pick him up,I wear fleecy gloves so he can't get me :rotfl:

My friend recommended Dream Cream to me because her grand daughter has excema and it's the only thing that soothes it, I've got really sensitive skin so have to be careful what I put on it

  • Yay it's my day off and I'm currently sitting here contemplating taking the dog out but surprise surprise it's raining again,

Today I'm planning on not doing too much apart from some sewing because we are going out to the Christmas market later on and I need to build up some energy
Work has been crazily busy all week but it's winter now so that's to be expected, I worked 9 to 5 yesterday but didn't get home until 6.20,I decided to walk home because it takes just as long on the bus by the time you have battled the daily traffic jam through the city,it was possibly a mistake because I really struggled to walk up my hill,I did feel better after a hot shower though

For some reason I slept really badly last night too so that doesn't help my energy levels,I'm thinking a slow walk round the houses with the dog will wake me up and blow some cobwebs away too

I'm working again tomorrow on a long day,I start off on the ward at 7.30 then go to my clinics at 9 until possibly 6 depending on how late they run, we have 8 clinics in the morning and 5 in the afternoons so it's going to be busy busy busy, then I go back and finish off on the ward until 8pm
Then IM ON HOLIDAY for a week :j:j:j:j

  • Ooh bring on holiday for the week.
Hope tomorrow goes quickly for you. Almost at the week off point. xx

  • On holiday at last but feeling a bit sad, Eric the hamster has sadly passed away :( I don't know why because he seemed fine when I cleaned him out :( I know he was only a little pet but I hate it when an animal dies, he did have a good time while he was here though so I can console myself with that thought

In other news we had a good time at the Christmas market and I might have treated myself to a bottle of chocolate wine,DD2 bought herself a bottle of toffee fudge vodka and it's very morish

I have now finally finished my Christmas shopping and just have to wrap it now,I must say it all looks a bit sad but DD did say she wanted to cut down this year so that is what we have done

We are going to get the non fresh Christmas food tomorrow as I haven't bought anything yet apart from some bits for a Boxing Day buffet lunch,I haven't got a clue what I'm supposed to be buying as I can't seem to get my head around it this year

I have a doctors appointment in the morning to see if she will let me stay on the HRT I was prescribed back in August,I was supposed to go back in October but was having some side effects so I came off it to see how I was,I've just steadily gone downhill since which ended in me feeling very overwhelmed and panicky today,I just can't get my head together today and am feeling very low,I'm not too confident she will let me stay on it because of the negative breast cancer news that was released back in the summer, she will have to come up with something else if she won't let me stay on it though because I can't stay like this
