The sewing sounds lovely. I am sure your friend will appreciate it.
Hope work went quickly for you. I can imagine it is really busy at the minute. x
I hope she likes it
Work was crazy today and I was glad to go home and also relieved I've now got two days off,I'm hoping it will have calmed down when I get back but it's winter so highly likely to still be crazyOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Well work was crazy as usual I feel like I did twelve hours condensed into 7.5 ,I got there and there were lots of jobs that needed doing, the two girls that were on in the morning are a pair of lazy so and sos and they hadn't done any stocking up of supplies for the nurses, I did find out that the matron took them to one side today and told them off for not pulling their weight today so hopefully they will have a change of attitude
So I ran round like a crazy thing stocking everything up before I had to leave to do my clinic, then when I got back to the ward it was really busy so I didn't really stop until home time,I'm done now for two days so that's a relief
I was going to do a bit of sewing when I got home but I'm too tired,I make mistake if I sew when I'm tired so it's not worth doing it,I'm going to do some more tomorrow
My plans for tomorrow are quite ambitious as I want to put up some more decorations and hoover the house
I would like to clear my craft desk because it's really untidy and because it's in the living room it needs to be tidy really
I am toying with the idea of getting rid of it because I don't really use it and it's turning into a dumping ground,if I can have a good sort out and condense my supplies down to fit in the dressing table in my room then I could get rid of it, it's in a space I'm my living room that is under the slope where the stairs come down,I've bought a play kitchen for DGS to play with when he is here and it would be a good spot for that to go instead
I'm going into town later in the afternoon to do my Christmas shopping and send the extra book back that I ordered and I want to pop into the Christmas market for a look around, then if it isn't too late I will crack on with some more sewingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
That is a lot. I am sure you will manage it though, if you are feeling ok. I am going to attempt to get rid of something every day in the new year as I am wanting to clear out in case I move.
Have a lovely day off. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Well I got some Christmas shopping done but that was about it,I woke up this morning feeling really tired for some reason,I'm going out with the dog in a minute then I'm going to do some sewing.
Town wasn't too bad today but we waited forever for a bus to come home and then it took ages to get home because the traffic was really bad
I did manage to get DD1s presents though but I was naughty in Lush and bought myself a solid karma perfume, they are the size of a lip balm and cost £10  I've wanted the perfume for ages but the small bottle is tiny and costs £30 so I can't afford it at the moment, the solid perfume I've bought will probably last me quite a while though
I just have to get something for my mum and dad now plus DD2s socks and a Christmas decoration each, we have a tradition of new socks and a new pair of pjs each at Christmas,I've got both DDs pjs and DD1s socks,I might pop into town on Sunday early on my own so I can get my last bits then I'm done
DD 2 wanted a reusable coffee cup and likes the keepcup range,I looked online and they cost the same in John Lewis so I went there to get one instead,I was lucky though as there was only one left in the size and style she liked so I snapped that up
I also returned the book I accidently ordered two of and returned a library book
We had to go food shopping so didn't go to the Christmas market, we are going to go next week on a day when we don't have to do anything else, we did find a couple of tasty looking vegan mains in the Christmas food section at Sainsbury's so we bought them and I've put them in the freezer,I also found lots of buffet type food that was on special offer, it was also suitable for freezing so I've bought that for Boxing Day when DD1 and family are coming round
I'm feeling less panicked now I've done some present and food shopping:jOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
What's one little treat for yourself every now and again? You deserve something.

Today I went to a Christmas tree festival at the church where DD1 lives, the trees are all decorated by local people from different places such as playgroups and nursing homes, it was good fun and my DGS loved it
I haven't really achieved anything else today though,I'm thinking I will do some sewing in a minute,I'm getting on really well with it but I'm still not sure if I will finish it in time
I ordered a Christmas Eve box for my DGC, it's a personalised one with a lovely picture painted on the lid and their names added, it arrived today and I'm so pleased with it, it's really nice quality and looks lovely
Tomorrow I'm at work so that's 12.5 hours accounted for then I have Sunday off,I was going to go Christmas shopping but I've decided to have a day at home so I can have a mega clean and finish the Christmas decorations, then I can put all the storage boxes back in the loftOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Hope work goes quickly for you. I live near the Trafford Centre and the surrounding traffic is an absolute joke at this time of year. I won't even go in that direction for the first four days after Christmas. It becomes an absolute nightmare. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I've been stuck in many a traffic jam trying to get in and out of your town OBL!
I went to a Christmas tree festival in a church yesterday too :xmastree:. You sound a lot more organised tham me. I'm getting a bit anxious about Christmas as I'm so unprepared apart from putting up the decorations. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I love Lush, OBL. I think they do some unusual perfumes & products generally. I think my favourite is one of the bubble bath bars - 'Blue skies & white fluffy clouds'. I'm sure you're supposed to use more than I do, but I just break little pieces of for each bath when I have some, because I like to make it last. There is also a pot of body cream which they do (can't remember the name) but it is lovely to use, all very natural ingredients & just sinks straight in.
