I love crafting too. Did you manage to do it?
I had a curry and it hasn't really agreed with my stomach for some reason. I must check the labels as I might have missed something.
I am avoiding Christmas markets this year to avoid spending money!!
Have a lovely Sunday xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I find it nice and relaxing, we made the paper chains from the ones I bought in kit form a few years ago,so didn't need to use the wrapping paper,I can wrap presents with that now
I go to the Christmas market every year but very rarely actually buy anything apart from something to eat or the odd Christmas decorationOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Yay the Christmas tree and all the decorations are up in the living room,I just need to do my hall now and it's finished,I really didn't want to do it today but we went and bought nibbles and sparkly wine so that made it more fun,I'm glad we've done it now as I can stop thinking about it, I love having my tree up and everything but I hate decorating it
The house looks really festive now😀
We had a laugh with the neighbours boys as well today, they were outside with toy guns and pretended to shoot us through the window so I clutched my chest and fell on the floor,I couldn't see them but my daughter said they were having hysterics, she the hid behind the settee and pretended to shoot back at them with a Christmas cracker, they thought it was hilarious, it was so good to see them laughing
We were playing Christmas songs and DD was singing along when the eldest boy shouted stop singing your killing me :rotfl:
I'm now chilling out for a bit before bed,I'm actually shattered so I'm going to try and have an early night. I'm back at work tomorrow but I'm in clinic so I'm doing 9-5 tomorrowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Your decorations are up early, I'm holding out until Sunday
Sounds like you're well into the festive spirit already (not the bottled variety LOL).
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hi SA ,yes they are early this year, DD2 was hassling me to put them up even though she is 32 :rotfl: I don't normally put them up until the 1st of December,I'm glad I've done them now though,we haven't finished them yet, we still have the hall to do, I'm planning on doing that this SundayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Another busy week has gone by, where does the time go, work has been crazily busy this week and I've literally been coming home having a shower and falling into bed because I've been so tired, annoyingly although I'm tired I haven't slept very well this week
Tuesday was sent at DD1s house ,we took the DGC to the local playgroup in the morning which was fun,I came home at teatime and had lovely chips from their local chippy on the bus home, that way I don't have to cook when I get in
Wednesday was a work day
Today me and DD1 went to Ikea to buy a play kitchen for my DGS for his Christmas present,I'm so glad I asked her to take me in the car because it's much heavier than I thought it would be, we had lunch while we were there, they have a Brie and cranberry tart with roasted veg at the moment so I had that and some cheesecake with a hot chocolate,it only cost £5 with my family card
When we got home we chilled out for a bit and had a coffee before she had to leave to pick up my eldest DGS, I then dusted and hoovered the house and cleaned the bathroom, I also managed to get two loads of washing done today:j
I've just been sitting here doing a bit of Christmas shopping,I've ordered two of DD2s presents but I'm buying the rest in town
I just need to figure out what to get my mum and dad ,DD1 is having money and some perfume she likes from Lush
DGS 2 is too young to know what Christmas is this year so he is having money,I'm also getting a personalised Christmas Eve box for them to share
My son in law will have money and I've got him and DGS 1 a pair of matching socks that say Daddy Bear and Baby bear on them
It was payday yesterday and I have a good wage this month due to working three Sundays last month, this is good timing for this time of year,I usually wait a few days and then do my banking to make sure everyone had been paid, some of this months money is heading for the Christmas fund but I'm just going to draw it out instead of transferring it into the savings because I will only have to transfer it back again otherwise
I'm still enjoying the thrill and satisfaction of having the money saved up and sitting in the bank rather than the stomach churning panic I used to have whenever Christmas came around,I would be constantly anxious about buying things on my credit card but it was the only way I could do it,I would then spend the rest of the year trying to figure out how I was going to pay it back, when I look back now I can't believe how silly it was and I'm so glad I learned my lessonOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
You inspired me last Christmas to do this, and it really did work for me. I did need it to pay off the travel agent, but the fact it was there was so helpful. I plan on doing exactly the same again and put the money away throughout the year. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

It's so lovely knowing you have the money put aside to pay for Christmas presents
. I'm sure you'll enjoy Christmas much more because of this.
I'm going to put up my Christmas lights in the living room hall and kitchen tomorrow. Then if I have time I'll put up the Christmas trees too, although the big one probably won't get done until Sunday. The decorations do make you feel more cheerful.
