I've just started a spending diary again, it's frightening how the spends can creep up if you don't track them .

Trying to post but I'm being accosted by the cat, why do they ignore you all day but the minute you sit down they need a cuddle right now🙄

So today started off with a visit to my GP, as suspected he has told me to refer myself for physio, I came home to do that but I need my NHS number and I don't know it so I will find out tomorrow when I'm at work and then phone them,he told me to take painkillers so I told him about my little headache problem and he suggested ibuprofen gel,I haven't had much luck with this in the past but decided to give it a go and to my relief it seems to be working,I can't quite reach the whole area but it does for my actual neck

The rest of today has been spent pottering around at home,I had a row with DD so she has stayed in her room all day.....it's been lovely and peaceful:rotfl:

I've bitten the bullet today and booked myself in for a hack at the riding school I tried last year,I haven't been back since that initial visit due to me not having the confidence to phone and book to go back,I've been feeling really sad about not riding lately so today I decided enough was enough and I was going to phone them if it killed me, so I'm going on Monday :j:j:j

    Hi OBL,
Just popping in to say I am on prescription ibuprofen gel. I was recently diagnosed with tendonitis & osteo-arthritis in my hands. I can't take any of the anti-inflammatory NSAIDs as I'm quite badly allergic to aspirin, but I don't get a reaction from the gels so my Dr said I can use them. The well known non-prescription brand didn't seem to do all that much, but the one he prescribed, which is called 'Fenbid Forte 10%' is more effective & I've just been to get a repeat prescription, at least until my physio date comes through. Just mentioning in case this is helpful.
