Thanks Cherry, mines 1/12 scale,i use Colgate tooth paste,I use toothpaste lids for ceiling lights and the lids from tubes of cream or ointment for lamps, you can also cover them with lace if you want toOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

Thansk,it came in kit form so I painted all the pieces then built it,the furniture is bare wood so you can either stain it or paint it the colour you wantOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

Another day at work done and I am shattered,I'm just waiting for DD to got to bed so I can wrap her present then I can go to bed as well,
I didn't sleep well last night ,I woke up at 1.30 and then again at 4.30 which was frustrating because my alarm goes off at 5.15 so it wasn't long enough to go back to sleep,I was really hot so I think it was that that woke me up
Tomorrow I have DGS all day so have to get up early ready for him to arrive,I have to go out so I'm hoping it doesn't rain all day because it's hard to push the buggy and hold an umbrella
It's DDs birthday tomorrow and I have part of her present and a card but I need to get her a cake
The other bit of her present is to have two pictures framed so that's what I'm looking for tomorrow,I also need to post two parcels because she has sold some bits on eBay but can't get to the post office because she has uni all day,her birthday is going to be a bit rubbish really because she will be on the train for most of it and at uni,we are having pancakes and birthday cake when she gets home though to make up for it
I also have some housey bits to do so will fit that in at some point during the dayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

That does put it in rather a different light.:rotfl:
I hope your busy day tomorrow goes well: happy birthday to your daughter! She had a narrow escape from a Lent birthday, didn't she? Though generally she won't be so lucky.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Hi everyone, I've been missing for a couple of days due to being busy and tired, work has been its usual stressful self but thats normal so I just have to roll with it
Today we finally managed to go out for DDs birthday lunch,we went to a lovely Italian restaurant,it's ones of my favourite places to go and yet I never get to go there,I go every couple of years and make the plan to go back and to just never happens but I am determined to go back now.
I had a pasta dish that is tagliatelle pasta in a cream and green pesto sauce with green beans and pine nuts but it's also dotted with purple basil pesto as well and it's soooooo tasty,my dessert was pistachio and olive oil cake served warm with vanilla ice cream and that was gorgeous too
DD had a vegan pizza which tasted delicious and the same dessert as me,the only downside is we are both ill so didn't enjoy it as much as we should have,we both seem to have caught the same cold from DGS who was poorly again on Tuesday DD is worse than me and came home and went straight to bed,I've got a sore throat and headache,I'm hoping it wont get worse because I have a long day at work tomorrow,my face is starting to hurt now too so that's not too good
When we got home from our meal I had to go out and clean the chickens out and it had been spitting with rain earlier, anyway it wasn't too bad so I let them out in the garden fo a potter about,I went into the house to fill up their water and it suddenly started hailing really badly,I thought they would go back in but no they panicked and started throwing themselves against the glass door to try and get in the house,I had to go out and pick them up before they hurt themselves,so I got a good soaking,I had also left my garden clogs on the back door step so when I put my foot in i discovered they were full of hail stones,my feet were soaking and frozen:(
I managed to get them cleaned out but I got wet through doing it
I'm just trying to work up the energy to take the dog out but it's so cold I don't want to go back outside
I've had a coffee to warm me up but I'm still not fancying it:rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941
