I'm washed, dressed, bed is made and cuppa slurped - I used the tea bag that came with a mug Christmas 2016 as I'm tired of putting it back in the caddy every time I refill it :o This morning it was: use it or bin it!!! Gone now :D

    Round 1=
    1- WM x 1
    2- laundry shuffle
    3- put out recycling
    4- feed birds
5- breakfast with a cup of my usual brew ;)

Piggers - is Pixie ok now? I hope so.

She is still bruised and sore and her mouth hurt when she eats but she is ok. The swelling has gone down a lot.. just her fat lip still. TY for asking

Relative's dog had 6 puppies last night. I was hoping for one with a curly coat like the mum (bichon) to be more hypoallergenic. They seem to be all smooth the Father. Is this likely to change?

It might.. OH's friend had 2 litters arrive this week.. 6 golden cocker spaniels and 10 labradoodles 2 days later.

I'd want a pale coloured curly one too.. if they have a spare ;) .. I am tempted by a cocker spaniel tbh.. they aren't huge and they are pretty .. but they still poop.. lol.

Today I;m sorting out my bedroom. I am an hour in so far got bags of stuff to get rid of and going pretty well. Resisted a day off road with OH to do it

I need to loose 6 inches off my boobs to get in my dress; got it finally tried on yesterday and I love it even more so mission starts here! I have got my bum small enough to get in it so I am pleased but it is not coming off the chesticles

Going to go to a HHC see if I can get 2 bags decluttered
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Morning all! Lots of sympathy to those with the lurgy, and glad you are feeling better YorkshireLass.

So far I have done nothing in the house (except shove a load of laundry on), but I did force myself to cycle to the shop (3 and a bit miles round trip) rather than drive. Apparently I am far less fit than I thought cause I got there and had to sit down for a bit! Might have been because I was fighting the wind the whole way there and getting earache though, so I bought a £2.50 men's thin woolly hat to fit under my helmet for the cycle home! Now I am admiring the pile of ironing that needs to be done but not making any steps to do anything about it.

Glad pixie is feeling a bit better pigpen. She has all my sympathy - aged 10 I was accidentally shoved into a wall by a friend. It was one of the walls with decorative stones on the side so I spent the next two weeks with a lovely black eye, fat lip and triangle shaped indent in one of my cheeks.
  • Done quite a bit so far today. DW is on its second load, 2 x WM on the line/airer and several meals cooked in Mummys cafe as per usual!

I have put a joint of pork shoulder in the oven and tidied DS's bedroom. Also parcelled up the ebay sales that have already finished - the rest finish in an hour or so. Should have made about £80 from ebay this week :j

One more dog walk is on the cards today as well, then feet up and PJs on. DH lunch already made for tomorrow x

Aaaanddd sneeze! Again. GWS vibes to anyone else with the lurgy. To be fair, mine is just a cold, so I'm not complaining, just so that DH can see how it's done. :D

Busy day yesterday but we had a lovely meal out at friends' house last night. It was an annual meet up so always good to go and that everyone makes so much effort. I was tempted by 2 puddings, which I knew I shouldn't have done, so I'm glad that my slinky weigh in isn't until next Saturday. I was designated driver, so no wasted calories there.

Today I have run WM x 1 (seems to be every sock known to man in there), HHI, been on a 3 mile muddy walk, given the kitchen a half hearted S&S and tidied the LR. For that last, read " move DH's treasures from LR to DR, and shut the door". At least they are contained, but I would rather they were contained in someone else's house. I now have a couple of vases to rehouse, so I might now sort that collection out - I can't possibly need the number that I have....

ATB.. well done on sales. I've done £701 in three weeks.. obviously it has already disappeared on necessary expenses.. I made £1311 in the whole of 2017 so I'm starting off well this year.

2x WM done .. I'll go hang it up shortly.. something ending on ebeast in the next 12 minutes which I want so I can't move just yet.

Girls bathed and dried and dressed and fed and playing happily for 5 minutes.

I need to photograph another box of gubbins to list.. I am very slowly still working my way through it all.. Squeak has just grown 1.5 inches since christmas so I may be checking her cupboard again!

I have decided the great bedroom shuffle shall take place at easter so I have 7 weeks to get the tiny room empty.. it is to be DS3's so he can help!! I am knitting my way through the wool stash in there and with luck the huge box on the bed will fit in my room soon once I have shifted half that lot!

I will have my house back if it kills me.. which it might!

Got about an hour left to do, much improved :) see if OH will build my drawers we got 3 years ago!

Found £117.48 so far which almost pays for the 4 suits we bought last week for the wedding, a very MSE purchase

Best get back to it. 2 big bags flung

(((Hugs))) and healing vibes for you YL.

I don't know, Dancemum. They all look like hampsters with a sink plunger on the front end when they first pop out.

Ionfan, Devil Cat amazed the vets when he was still alive in November. We thought it would be incredible if we got him to his birthday (9 December), and since then he's made Christmas, New Year, OH's birthday. This morning he was helping me make the double bed and 'cuddling' Kelpie's sheepskin rug. Totally amazing little chap.

I found a load of washing strung up around the superking bedroom, some of it on the back of the armchair in there, most of it on the new radiator that replaced the rusted out one, and the window firmly shut. That's it for everyone. No-one gets to use the WM, no exceptions. I'm sick to death of this wretched nonsense - they're paying guests here and their laundry isn't my problem. I only hope I can be polite enough when I have a word with her so that her final week's stay with us isn't in an atmosphere, but I could slap her I'm so angry.

Two loads of ours through the WM and out on the line, kitchen sorted, shower room done, superking changed, double turned around, ground floor vacuummed, roast and veggies readied to go in the oven for later when friends come round for an afternoon of marmalade-making and watching of Paddington.

Now to do some froggie minutes.
    Better is good enough.

Honey Bear I feel your anger, and sympathise. I hate having wet washing draped about. Find out about your nearest laundrette; opening times, what coins to take, cost of service wash or self service, and print out directions to get there;).

I have made marmalde jelly (ie shredless). Cleaned out bunny hutch; that's drying in the fresh air. I have cleared the garden of poop and thrown a cat litter tray that's cracked. My garden has been neglected for two years and it shows. When the weathehr warms up I plan to reclaim it. I have ironed DD's washing and am just scoffing more OOD tinned soup.
