Still struggling to keep up, in fact I can't at the moment. Just really, really busy, racing between things I've got to do without, sadly, much time for Flying. (((Hugs to all)))
Thank you, Valli.Better is good enough.0 -

Oh decorating disasters. When we bought our first house the kitchen had to be wallpapered as the walls were in terrible condition, this was 22 years ago when kitchen wallpaper was quite trendy (often with fake tiles or pictures of vegetables on it). Ended up in a big DIY store at 5pm on a Saturday needing to choose wallpaper because MIL was coming around the next day to put the paper on for us.
As soon as I saw the first wall (lovingly and carefully done) I hated it. There is a picture of DS's first birthday somewhere and every time I look it all I can see is that darned wallpaper. We had to live with it for a few years because MIL had spent so long doing it for us.
So. My Wednesday. Up at 6.15am, gym, paid stuff 1, quick whiz around the shops and home. Quickly hoovered right through, dusted, cleaned bathroom, changed our bed and put sheets in wash. Made a steak and kidney pie and a chicken casserole, did an hour on job no. 2 then back into the kitchen to get everyone fed and put some muffins in the oven.
Back to job no. 2 now. Kitchen a bit messy but will call on DH to sort it in a bit.0 -
Thank you Donna jt everyonr on this thread is so kind! Wavy Mexican border made me smile. A sleepless night and I still hate it in the morning, lots going on and this feels like the last straw. But we've kept on plan for him to do woodwork today and we can afford to get it redone so will wait at least until the weekend and decide. Can't imagine changing my mind though!
Hi Doobop - at least you tried, we all make mistakes and tester pots never look the same as a whole wall, chin up, we're halfway thru the week at least xxx0 -
Had a very lovely day today, haven't done much flying but I did join a Strollercise class - omg what fun - basically walking/dancing to 50s music, can't wait to go back and hit 5000 steps on my fitbit ... roll on next Wednesday
weigh day tomorrow (fingers crossed for a decent loss)0 -
