Hope you're enjoying your new enhanced vision Lilith. I remember when I had mine lasered some years ago I couldn't believe how well I could see almost immediately.

    Have a good Easter!
Have a good Easter Lilith, I hope your eyes are doing well !

Thanks both, yes I'm still getting used to waking up and not needing to put my glasses on in the morning! My eyes are still quite dry, but I have drops for them. I guess it might take some time for them to settle, but I'm very pleased :)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and the long weekend. We went to the coast yesterday and will be going out for a countryside walk in a bit. Shame it can't be like this all the time lol.

Hi Sunshine girl, hope you're okay. I'm doing alright but have been a bit of an emotional wreck this past week. I'm applying for another job - it's in the same place I work but in a different area and it means I could work 4 days a week for roughly the same salary.

I know there's someone else going for it who is a strong candidate and earlier in the week I convinced myself there was no point in me going for it and that I might as well retract my application. But, I didn't do that and I have an interview next Friday. I just need to go in and do my best, but it all hooks into my "not good enough" :o

Otherwise, things are going okay with the private work and we have a week off in early June so we're looking forward to that as we'll be mainly pottering about :)

Interviews are a necessary evil, I don't know anyone who thinks they are ok. Going for internal interviews are worse I think as there is always someone who you think is better than you. I recently had to do this and was overwhelmed by the whole ordeal. My tips are be prepared , get your outfit ready , do yourself notes , have an early night. All you can do is your best , you still have a job whether you get it or not. You have to believe in yourself and if you don't get it , ask for feedback and put it down as a learning curve. You have a business running in the background that is successful so you can't be a failure. Enjoy the rest of your weekend , let us know how you get on .
