    Happy Friday folks :)

Finished work early today instead of going to the gym. Can't believe how hot it was! Sat in the sun and read my book, far too hot to exercise :)

Got a brilliant bargain from M&S - 2 packs of 8 fresh beef burgers for £1.25 a pack reduced from £5 a pack - for Mr SA, he's well happy. Still cross with him about the beer pester though. And the solar lights.

No plans for this weekend other than WW tomorrow morning. Weather forecast is good so that's me relaxing on a sun lounger with my book :)

In other news I've been in my new job for a month. Don't regret making the move but I still miss some (not all!!) of my old team. The new people are all lovely but the team spirit isn't quite the same sadly. I'll get my first proper new wage next Friday so will know how much better off I am.

Not mentioned before but my old manager has well and truly shafted me :( The bonus I was awarded back in March, she didn't put it through so am still waiting for it. If it's not in my June pay I'll complain because I have it in writing. Plus she told me I was an exceed for this year in my performance agreement. This meant I should've got a bonus earlier this month - I didn't so I assume she changed her mind and didn't bother to tell me. My guess is because I moved business streams and got promoted she decided not to bother. What a !!!! manager - so glad I moved. She was only ever interested in herself and getting promoted not her staff. Still cross about it to be honest :(

Glad that you have the bonus in writing.
Why do some people behave like that

Hello Anita :) Yes it's footie yet again tonight :(

    Happy Saturday folks :)

Some fab news in that the pension payout has arrived today - finally :j:beer::T Took just shy of two years since I was first told it was winding up.

Have warned Mr SA it's not for frittering away as he was saying come on let's get it spent. Told him some of it must go into savings. Top of the list is to get the garden sorted, it needs to be low maintenance.

Went to WW and have put the half a pound I lost last week back on :( I'm not joking all this extra excercise and AFDs are no good for me at all :rotfl: Need to pull my socks up ias it's only 8 weeks to Ibiza.

Rubbish boss indeed SA - it definitely needs chasing up.
35 puns a week on beer - I'm with you on that one - no chance.
Bet you miss your solar lights - I miss ours this year - dh is still sorting it - but can only do 1 bit at a time instead of getting next bit ready whilst waiting for cement to dry......MEN :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi SA - what a nerve your ex-boss has! Definitely chase it up - you're due that money! hope she's not included in any of your future get-togethers!

Good news as well on the pension! I'm so glad you're not listening to Mr SA though re frittering it away! I'd start putting a bit of the pay rise into your pension. I must say that the tax relief on it makes it a non-brainer for me.

Re football - living on your own does have its plus points sometimes......:D
