I'm another 1 that hates football but dh isn't bothered either. I was livid at Corrie being changed for Vera as footy wasn't even on itv.....so mad I even emailed ITV :rotfl::rotfl: must have caught me on a bad moment though - I was just looking forward to a peaceful cuppa and relax when I realised it wasn't on.... It's about the only thing I really watch and have to admit it's probably habit.

I get sick of endless documentaries and train programmes of which there seems many at the moment. I often take myself to the bedroom TV at about 9 as dh is glued to downstairs one - I know how to live I do :beer::D

At least the footy is keeping mr SA away from his wish lists.

Hope the job is doing ok too

Evening folks. Been a bit hectic at work this week, knew it wouldn't be long :)

On track with the budget still. Tried yoga for the first time on Tuesday and got a henna tattoo (which Mr SA hates!!!), Pilates Wednesday. Plan to go to the gym again tomorrow. So that will be four extra exercise sessions on top of the walking :)

Mr SA driving me potty :( Not just the football but beer pestering. Got him two crates of Carling yesterday on offer 2 for £20. He said he thought I'd get him more!!! Plus the beer box DD got him (Goose Island IPA) he loves so wants another one of those ASAP even though they're £11.30 for just 8 small bottles. Then he rang me at work to say get another set of solar lights for the tree as they'd stopped working. Funny they were working last night! Turns out he'd mowed through the wire with the lawn mower!! I only bought them a few weeks ago :( Not getting any more as he's now broken all the solar lights I bought recently including the spike ones by the pond, just through sheer clumsiness.

Anyway rant over - it's Friday tomorrow :)
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Does Mr SA think you are made of money? If I was to buy crates of beer for my DH if they were on special offer he would just drink more so they would not last any longer.

I hate football too but thankfully DH is not a fan either.

He does think I'm made of money ES - he's always been oblivious to budgets and seems to think money is no object. He's always been the same, it's not a new thing. I've worked out if I got him the two crates of Carling, plus the Goose Island box, plus the San Miguel, I'd be spending over £35 a week just on beer, or more when the Carling's not on offer! It's not happening, I've got to put my foot down. I've tried getting him to brew his own but he's so lazy if it involves him having to do something he's not interested. It's very frustrating :(

£35 a week on beer is ridiculous never mind the health implications of him drinking that much. I would be telling him it has to last a month not a week. You are quite right to put your foot down.
