Happy Friday - I’m off work today and it’s payday 🥳🥂 Unfortunately it’s raining 🌧 can’t have everything 😆

Not sure what to do today. Can’t go anywhere with Mr SA because of getting the scooter wet but there’s nothing stopping me from going somewhere. This is when I feel tied as I should be able to say to him I’m going to town or wherever and not have to listen to him moaning about it. When I’m working he often takes the dog out for a scoot so why do I feel I can’t go somewhere on my own. I need to sort this before I retire or I won’t have a life of my own. It annoys me because all my friends are free just to take themselves off whenever they want.

I think I’m just going to say I’m going for a long walk. I don’t need to say where to.

Need to do finances at some stage.

Even husbands without challenges are hard. I loved when mine did shifts and I had lots of time to do my own thing without explaining where, why, etc. And the 2 week courses were amazing 🤣 I miss those (but wouldn’t want to go on one myself) 😬

Tell him you’re going out and will bring him a chippy tea in as long as he doesn’t keep pestering you……you need some time to yourself.

I went to town this morning on my own. It was really nice but I got drenched on the way back. We’re having lunch in the local pub now.

I hope you are getting better weather for our walk back from the pub then we are having right now. It is bouncing down here.

Had a nice lunch, Mr SA enjoyed his burger and chips, I had a beetroot wrap with Cajun vegan bites which was nice. Disappointed they no longer do sweet potato fries as a side order 😩 Managed to dodge the rain on the way back, the pub is less than 10 minutes walk away thankfully. 

Bought myself a lovely sweatshirt from Mint Velvet this morning reduced from £69 to £25. I’ve hardly bought any clothes this year which is very unusual for me in normal times but I really loved this particular sweatshirt. I’ve lost my shopping mojo which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it’s probably because I’m not going anywhere at the moment and I just think what’s the point.

Mr SA was ok with me going into town, I think he realises he can’t keep me prisoner in the house. He had a moan saying he never goes anywhere but it fell on deaf ears. 

I’m going to have to take the dog out at some stage, she’s been out with Mr SA but she keeps looking at me then looking out of the window at the park and sighing. Plus the sun is coming out now so have no excuse 😆

Look at the state of the big sunflower on the top photo after the storm poor raggedy thing, two bees on it though so serving it’s purpose.  The smaller sunflower looks in much better condition.
