Oh that's not what we want to hear.
Thank goodness they know what it is and can do something about it. I hope all's soon mended and she makes a speedy recovery.
Happy birthday to Mr SA.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy Thursday
Last working day of the week for me. Looking forward to a 4 day weekend.
Went for a run this morning. Lovely and sunny but very cold, felt like going back for my coat but was ok once I got going.
Today will be NSD 12 of April, the final NSD of the month.
Cleaning today is the bedroom. Making Harissa Prawn Orzo for dinner tonight, another one of my favourites and so tasty - here is the recipe.
Have a nice dayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Looks delicious 👍
Pleased to hear Mr SA enjoyed his birthday and is eager to spend his £100 😲 I’d put a bet on (and I’m not a gambler) that he doesn’t forget about it.
Here’s hoping they sort the blood clot out quickly and there’s no damage afterwards. I thought the clots were only a high risk for the under 30’s. It scary if you think about the risks we take with a lot of medicines but scarier without them 😳January spends - £587.585 -

Happy Friday 🥂🥳
I’m absolutely shattered. Went to B&M first thing and have spent a fortune on lots of random tat, I was like a kid in a sweet shop 😆 Got some stuff for the garden though. Bought a Marguerite from B&Q and some plant pots from Wilko. 16,000 steps done already.Mr SA insisted on coming with me and I parked him outside Costa with the dog. When I went to pick him up he’d had a toilet accident unfortunately. He’s not too good at the moment with his back and struggling to walk, I should’ve made him stay at home but he never passes up the chance of a Costa.Need to look at finances as it’s payday. Also need to put the rest of the pebbles on the garden.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
The shopping sounds fun - they do have some tempting stuff! Sorry to hear Mr SA didn't have such a good time. It's hard for you. Did you get any of the Costa 50p offers yesterday? I'm wondering if you could have Costas at home to make things a bit simpler, or would they just get used in no time and you'd still be faced with a trip to the shop.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. @Cherryfudge we have a Tassimo machine at home and both of us prefer the Kenco pods to the Costa ones. I saw the offer but couldn’t face queuing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I have a B&am literally around the corner from me on the same site as Morrison’s. It is so tempting and always busy. I went in for flower pots the other day and the gardening section was virtually empty....I never seen it so sparse.Sorry that Mr SA didn’t have the best trip to Costco.....his new scooter too. Does he like the new machine.January spends - £587.584
