That is so sad and so difficult, @Paspatur. I hope your other half knows better than to believe the stories.
It must be heart-breaking to see the changes in your sister. Perhaps as lockdown lifts she will become more active and start to redress the balance. Maybe her doctor would be able to influence her to eat more healthily? I know you have done your best to help and she hasn't taken it on board, but there is only so much any person can do. If she's judged to have capacity to decide what she eats, other people can't change it for her, but it's terrible to see it happening. I do feel for you.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning, happy Sunday
Nice quiet morning so far, Mr SA and the dog are still in bed.Not sure what we’re doing today but it will involve walking the dog at some stage. Could do with making a start on painting the fence at the bottom of the garden.Today should be NSD11 of April. Need to get some home insurance quotes as it’s due for renewal towards the end of May and my current provider has put the price up. Also need to do a meal plan for next week.Have a good one ☺️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Hope Mr SA is feeling better after his fall and that you’ve had a lovely day in the sunshine whatever you decided to do.

Absolutely shattered. We went to the park that has a garden centre this morning, bought two campanula plants so not a NSD after all. Then spent the rest of the day gardening. Have cleared the fence at the bottom of the garden of ivy and mile a minute ready for painting. Then cleared another area of a plant that is most likely a weed judging by the blooming roots. It only started appearing last year but is just leafy no flowers, no idea what it is but it’s gone now. I’m only working 4 days next week and the plan is to go to B&M on Friday to pick up some garden bits like solar lights, plant pots, etc.Did 21,000 steps so happy with that. Mr SA has been no help whatsoever with the gardening, his back is playing him up.Just cooking tonight’s dinner I’m just having fish with potatoes and veg, Mr SA is having steak. Can’t be bothered to faff about tonight.I’ll sleep well tonight that’s for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Mr SA's new scooter has arrived, it's massive! When I saw the size of the wheels I had a flashback to him running me over, sent shivers down my spine. Will definitely be keeping well clear of it when we're out and about. He's really pleased with it.
Took the dog on the park this lunchtime, it's really warm out now.
What a palaver trying to book in the boiler for an annual service with BG. They've been sending me emails for a few weeks reminding me to book one, just book online it said. Tried several times to book online and it kept saying not doing online bookings at the moment, you have to do it over the phone. Then tried phoning only to get a message saying not booking services at the moment 🤨 Had yet another email from them today so tried phoning - sat listening to several minutes of recorded messages only for it to advise booking online. Tried to book online only to find out they're not taking online bookings you have to ring them. So rang back and after several minutes of recorded messages finally got to speak to someone and book in a service for Saturday. Needless to say I've given them bad feedback in the survey they sent me shortly afterwards. Complete nightmare!
In normal times we would've been flying to Lanzarote tomorrow for Mr SA's birthday, that's two Aprils in a row we've missed now 😥
