Happy Tuesday
Have been for a walk down to the big Mr T this morning, initially 'just for a paper' but ended up picking a few other bits up as you do. The main aim was to clock up some steps and get some fresh air before I started work.
Got a big Mr M order arriving shortly. Annoyingly they have subbed the mango and passionfruit cheesecake I ordered for Mr SA's birthday with a chocolate one. I don't like chocolate cheesecake. I know it's for him really but he would end up eating the whole cake to himself. I liked the sound of the mango and passionfruit too.
Mr SA has taken the dog out for a ride on his new scooter. He almost got scammed by a bogus text allegedly from DHL saying click this for your parcel redelivery. He assumed it was a birthday present for him! I'm hoping the smellies I ordered him will arrive today in time for his birthday.
Got some quotes for home insurance, last year it was £78 this year they want to charge £103. To be honest I can't get it that much cheaper but have seen one for £88.

Our home insurance has gone up as well. Was £111 last year it is £126 this year. Not a massive increase but it never seems to go down 🤔4

Is Mr SAS back related to his recent falls.....wonder if he twisted....I suspect the new scooter would have taken his mind of it.
Pity about the cheesecake.......I’d be hard pushed to choose one as I like them both.
The scams are outrageous atm - I bet there are a lot of people falling for them. I had one the other day saying somebody had spent £350 on my Amazon account- if it wasn’t me - click the link.....only I don’t have an account as I use a family member’s who has prime.January spends - £587.584 -
I've gone years with nothing dodgy via text. Last few weeks though its really taken off. Main one is saying someone has set up a payee on my bank account - big clue is wrong bank but so easy to fall for it if its your own bank as they do send text payee changes for real. I get the parcel delivery ones too.
I must get round to claiming the $7.6m compo the United Nations apparently owe me though - Prudence Lovegood assures me its genuine

I'm getting at least two scam texts a week at the moment, they are really annoying me 😡 I also like the sound of the passion fruit cheesecake, I'm not a big fan of cheesecake but we did have a vanilla one the other day which reminded me of the ones you make yourself, I haven't had one of those for years 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944

In the last 2 days I have had .... yesterday before 10am I had 3 calls on my landline telling me my broadband was being cut off, I would have done 1572 but they were all the same voice but from 3 different numbers, before noon today I had 6 calls that didn't complete because I no longer speak when I answer, then there are the 2 calls yesterday & one today about the insurance on my appliances. I am heartily sick of them & wouldn't buy from them if they were the last company on earth & I really needed their services.I have had my phone numbers for more years than I care to think about & it is only the last few when I have had this problem. I am sure caused by all those companies insisting on having your phone number for no real justifiable purpose other than to sell on. I had had my mobile number over 10 years without a single dodgy call & then some idiot hit my car & my insurance company insisted on having my mobile number. Since then it seems to be open season. With one company after the 8th call in one day I was actually extremely rude & said a word I haven't said out loud either before or since. No calls since but we really should just be able to say do not call again. It is 2 different problems really - the truly scam calls but mostly texts & the calls trying to force you to buy something.5

Whenever I get a call from a number I don’t recognise I answer the phone giving my workplace’s name. Gets rid of a fair few 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
