Happy Friday Eve
Have been to Lidl this morning, further away than Aldi but a much better layout/choice. Mr SA met me with the dog so she’s had a decent walk back home. Bought a climbing plant for the cleared garden area. Done over 8,000 steps so a good start to the day.Cleaning is kitchen day. Will be walking the dog at lunchtime and do a 20 minutes abs workout after work. Dinner tonight is pizza and salad, shop bought pizza not making it from scratch. Yes shock horror I’m letting something ready made pass my lips 🤣 Doesn’t happen very often and I’m usually disappointed so we shall see 😆 Got leftover lentil stew for my lunch.Should be a quiet day work wise, plenty of bits to catch up on so won’t be twiddling my thumbs.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Mr SA has made an attempt to do something with the garden area where I removed the ivy. Unfortunately it didn’t look great so another job for me. I think we’ll have to bite the bullet and buy some pebbles to cover the soil over then take it from there. I’ve found some pots and bits that can go on there from other parts of the garden.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

We are putting our front garden project on hold for a short while. Although while Mr RS was cutting the grass yesterday he did at last agree that we do need to do something with the front garden because the grass, if you can call it that, what is there is in atrocious condition.
I don't know what grass they used but it just isn't suitable for here, no one's front garden grass looks great but ours is in the sun all day as well so it looks doubly bad. It is just a dust bowl at the minute.5 -
I’d like to know what grass the council use because the grass on the park across the road always looks great despite all the dogs/people/football matches.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Finally it's Friday 🥰 Feels like it's been a very long week.
Have been for a run this morning, another sunny but frosty one.
Got BG coming to fit the Hive at some point today just waiting for a text to say when. Not sure if it will be a no spends day as we might order the pebbles if we have time. There's a small family-run builders merchants not too far from us and they do free local delivery no matter how little you spend, we always get our garden stuff from them. Just got to work out how many bags, could do with some edging too so the pebbles don't go on the lawn. I feel like I've opened Pandora's Box by removing the ivy but it will look a lot better when it's done.
Cleaning will be the bathroom today. Tonight's dinner is tuna with Mexican-style rice and veg.
Should be another quiet work day, got a few bits to do, might be able to finish early.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
Nothing is ever straightforward and the Hive can’t be installed until Monday now because the front needs to come off the boiler and the chap who came out today isn’t qualified to do the safety checks it will need afterwards. Typical 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

What a waste of time, surely safety checks need to be done anyway if they are messing about with your heating and boiler so why send someone who is not qualified 🙄Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206
