I’m a bad influence 🤣 They do some brilliant bundles, often throw in a glass and the mixers too. Last year I briefly joined the Craft Gin Club, the gin was brilliant but I didn’t like the mixers and snacks that came with the monthly box so didn’t think it was worth £40 a month just for one bottle of gin when you can get 2 or 3 decent ones for the same price from Drop Store. I cancelled after 3 months.

Morning happy Sunday 

Lovely and sunny here so will be taking the dog for a long walk later. Have emptied the washing basket and put a colour on my hair. 

Meal plan to do later, going to try for a minimal spend week this coming week, just buy what we need. 

Today should be NSD5 of April. No plans to go to the pub or non essential shops next week when they reopen. All our local pubs are bookings only so no just wandering in on spec. Don’t fancy sitting shivering outside if it’s cold.

We are giving the shops and pubs a miss for now as well. We will let things settle down before we go for a drink in a pub again.

We took the dog up to the golf course walk this morning then after lunch she was in the garden with me while I chopped down some ivy that had reinvented itself as a huge tree. Was hard work and no idea what I’m going to do with all the clippings as the garden waste bin is full. Mr SA has somehow managed to convince himself that it was he who chopped the ivy down and is having a lie down as he’s worn out 😆I wouldn’t mind but he didn’t lift a finger just sat there watching me! I’m going to make that area of the garden into something nice, not sure what but will look out for ideas. 

Going to make some carrot, swede and red lentil soup for next week lunches, prep tonight’s dinner, do some Spanish then have a long soak in the bath. I’m having salmon, potatoes and veg tonight, Mr SA is having steak. I’ve had everything out of the freezer, done an inventory and based next weeks meal plan on what’s in stock. Determined to have a low spend week next week.
