I’ve just bought a litter picker thing so when I walk the dog I can pick up the annoying litter especially just after recycling day as the amount of litter dropped on collection is disgusting. Also i can whack anybody trying to steal my dog if they dare. Heartbreaking the amount of dog thefts I’m hearing about.x

I think the litter has got worse during this lockdown. Some people have got extremely selfish with no thought for others. The dog theft stories are frightening.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Morning, happy Friday Eve
Starting work later today as nipping up to Aldi shortly. I wish they opened at 7 rather than 8 but it is what it is. Will get a good start on my daily steps and Mr SA will bring the dog out to meet me so she’ll get walk number 1 of the day.
The veggie sausage stew last night was delicious and I have a portion left over for lunch. Going to make it for Mr SA with meat sausages as he liked the look of it. Having veggie lasagne from freezer stores and salad tonight. Cleaning is kitchen day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
If you snuck a veg sausage in, would he notice - then you could just cook 1 meal - I’m guessing he would 😂😂😂

I bet he would notice a veggie sausage 😂.
A litter picker is a brilliant idea. A walking stick would also make a good weapon if you pretend you have a bad knee 🤣.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Just a heads up Miguel Barclay’s One Pound Storecupboard Meals Kindle edition is 99p today on Amazon. I haven’t got a Kindle but have the app on my iPad so another one downloaded. Looks really good.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I looked up the Carl's All-change Casserole and it does look good. Might be a dinner for us one day.
DH doesn't mind veggie food so long as he gets meat from time to time, which is very helpful of him.
I'm going to look up the cookery book too... I'm so glad of Kindle books as my bookshelves IRL are overflowing!
Incidentally, my old kindle is on its last legs (yes, it dates back to the days when Kindles had legs) and I've been breaking in the newer one but I can't get the it to show daily deals. Most peculiar, as it will show things like the 99p deals that run all month, just not the daily ones. I wonder if it's being phased out, though the newer Kindle isn't all that new? I can still find the deals on the old one for now but the screen is showing signs of no longer being able to respond sensibly. I found the daily deals via the laptop too, so it's more an annoyance than a crisis.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
