    I looked up the Carl's All-change Casserole and it does look good. Might be a dinner for us one day. :) DH doesn't mind veggie food so long as he gets meat from time to time, which is very helpful of him. :)

    I'm going to look up the cookery book too... I'm so glad of Kindle books as my bookshelves IRL are overflowing!

    Incidentally, my old kindle is on its last legs (yes, it dates back to the days when Kindles had legs) and I've been breaking in the newer one but I can't get the it to show daily deals. Most peculiar, as it will show things like the 99p deals that run all month, just not the daily ones. I wonder if it's being phased out, though the newer Kindle isn't all that new? I can still find the deals on the old one for now but the screen is showing signs of no longer being able to respond sensibly. I found the daily deals via the laptop too, so it's more an annoyance than a crisis.
    I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
