People are probably feeling a bit meh because the long weekend is over and the cold weather is back. We're allowed to meet outdoors but it's less fun if it's freezing cold! We had sleet here just now inbetween sunny spells. I hope you feel more cheerful soon SA
.
I'm glad you were able to meet DS and the DGC in the park. It's so lovely that we can meet relatives again, even if it is only outdoors. I wouldn't feel safe meeting people indoors anway at the moment.

I think I just have the Monday blues on a Tuesday 😆 I’m cold too and it always makes me feel miserable. Going to do a Joe Wicks workout followed by a long soak in the bath, that should make me feel better.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I did the Joe HIIT workout followed by Get Fit with Rick on You Tube. Can highly recommend Rick to anyone who wants to get their step counts up. He has different walking/dancing workouts and a step counter so you can choose how many steps you want to do. He never stops talking but is very personable so I’ll let him off 😆
Then I had a long soak in the bath 🛁
Now and again the situation with Mr SA gets me down. I get so fed up of not being able to go anywhere because you have to consider whether it’s suitable for his scooter. We end up going to the same old places. He does nothing at all to help out, just sits there watching war films and Top Gear all day while I clean up after him and I seem to be forever making him lunch or dinner.
And don’t get me started on the state of the park across the road. Despite me completely clearing it of litter it’s now the worst I’ve ever seen it. The litter bins are overflowing and there are crisp bags, sweet wrappers, water bottles and pop cans strewn everywhere 🤬
End of rant 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Feel free to rant.....we’ve just been to a lovely new takeaway in town - we’d had a bogof pushed through the door which expires in a couple of days. When we came out folk had sat in their cars eating and just thrown the wrappings out of the window in several bays.....WHAT is up with people 😡😡
As for getting cheesed off with Mr SA I’m impressed you don’t get fed up more often...
You just have no escape from it atm. Not much longer and hopefully you’ll be able to meet up with work friends.January spends - £587.586 -

We retired last year with grand plans that sadly didn’t materialise. So far this year my OH has turned into a miserable s@d. Thought with easing of lockdown we would be able to start visiting local places first but he’s not interested. It’s like he just wants to stay in and play his new keyboard. Deciding whether to start going places by myself but then I feel guilty. Feel for you SA it must be even harder for you with your situation. Xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.007

Sorry that folks are feeling fed up today.
I'm glad that you recommended Rick - he's great fun - doesn't feel like a workout more like a night out at the disco but concentrated into 15 minutes. Showing my age now reminiscing about nights out at the disco 🕺🏻6
