Your financial totals are impressive - I'm another one that thinks your secret stash pot is a great idea and I'd encourage you to keep it topped up!Hope you enjoy your trip to the park and seeing the family. If we don't see any posts from you later, we'll know that DD and the router and co-axiol cable (whatever that is) hasn't gone to plan 🥺6

I’m absolutely shattered. Have done 26,000 steps today. Met DS and the GKs this afternoon, we had a wander round the nursery/plant shop bit, I bought us all a hot drink and Mr SA his sausage roll (not vegan this time). Then we walked round the park itself. The dog loved seeing the GKs, she went mad when she saw them. It was funny how she went to all of them in turn, DS, DIL and the GKs, jumping up excitedly 😆 Bought a couple of primroses which I need to find a pot for.
DD has set up the coaxial cable and the Virgin router is now just a modem with the router she bought as the main router now. However there were wires everywhere so I had to tack them to the skirting board. All sorted now and hopefully she’ll shut up about not being able to get a good WiFi signal in her room.
I’ve mentioned before about Mr SA’s scooter lease being up this month and he has to choose a new one. He wants one that does 35 miles on a single charge for when we go walking further afield. Reminded him that there is no way I’m walking 35 blooming miles 😱

You’ll have to get a seat on the back of his scooter if he’s planning 35 miles 😂😂😂
Pleased to hear you had a lovely time at the park with the gks 👍January spends - £587.586 -
Should’ve said it was lovely to see them all. DGS seems to have grown up a lot since we last saw him. He said he wanted to tell me a secret - when he’s 17 he’s going to buy a camper van - he’s 4 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

@beanielou, did you think the characters in Blood Orange were all awful, I didn’t like any of them but found the book compelling.I’m looking forward to the church charity shop reopening as they’ve advertised no book donations they’ve got too many. This is the one that do 5 books for £1. I’ll be their first customer on 12 April 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Have been outside all day today. What a glorious day ☀️ Took the dog on the park this morning, confined to the bottom end though as there was a football match on. Then spent the rest of the day in the garden, weeding and tidying up. The dog has enjoyed chasing after her ball in the garden and generally pottering about. Mr SA locked me outside at one point, I was happily reading my book in the sun with a G+T then realised I couldn’t get back in the house 🙄
Today has been NSD1 of April 🥳
Having nut loaf and roast root veg tonight, Mr SA is having the same but with roast beef. He’d kill me if I gave him nut loaf 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
