Sun_Addict said:Happy Good Friday 🐣
Nothing particularly exciting planned for today. Need to go to the local shops to stock up on household cleaning products and take the dog for a walk or two.I bought the Team Tomm app yesterday, it was £4.99, been thinking about getting it for ages. Onebrokelady knows what it is, it’s a cleaning/organising app, allegedly you get more done in less time. Anyway I’m on boot camp week, yesterday was the kitchen, today is the bathroom. I like anything you can tick boxes off I’m weird like that 😆Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1206 -
I thought the boot camp would be harder, just general cleaning so far and done in around 30 minutes. I just need reminding to do things which is why I got the app. Mr SA makes a lot of mess which is why I always seem to be cleaning. I was surprised to find recipes and meal plans on the app. So far so good.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Have had a busy but spendy day. The dog has been for a good run on the park across the road twice then out in the garden for the rest of the day. Said park is now more or less litter free thanks to me picking up all the water bottles/cans/sweet wrappers left strewn about. Have stocked up with household goods/toiletries/cleaning stuff for the month hopefully. Also bought some hosepipe connection things Mr SA is insisting he needs. He’s bu****ed up the new hosepipe- don’t ask 🤬
Spent an hour chopping down the blooming pampas grass in the garden and have the scratches to prove it. Yet another plant Mr SA brought back from work a few years ago. I hate the stuff it’s rampant, Whenever he worked on new builds he used to acquire several plants left over from the showhomes. Not only plants once he came home with a load of leftover magnolia paint, guess what colour all our walls and ceilings were that year 😆We are meeting DS and the GKs at a local park tomorrow. It’s got its own nursery/plant shop and they have collaborated with a local wood fired pizza place and a homemade coffee/cake place to make it a bit of an Easter do with stalls. The dog will go mad when she sees the GKs, she loves them to bits. Mr SA is looking forward to the sausage rolls - what he doesn’t realise is that they are vegan 😆
DD had the Oxford vaccine yesterday and has had a few side effects but not as bad as mine. Her arm hurts and she feels a bit cold and achy but not that bad. She’s been fiddling about with the WiFi today, has bought a coaxial cable and wants to move the router. Disaster waiting to happen which I’ll end up sorting out no doubt.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Morning, happy Saturday 🍾
Unbelievably I’ve been shopping yet again this morning, the big Mr T this time. Mainly to get the Daily Mail book club book as it’s one I particularly want to read - The Lies You Told by Harriet Tyce. I recently read Blood Orange by her and couldn’t put it down. Will be spending again later at the park on coffees, cakes and vegan sausage rolls 😆 maybe plants from the nursery too. Looking forward to seeing DS and the GKs, not seen them since Christmas Eve and that was only briefly in the drive.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Another here echoing congrats on the finances ( although I'd shove some more in the secret stash!)😀Who knows - the sausage rolls might turn Mr SA vegan!🤣. Joking aside, it sounds like you'll all have a great day catching up.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
