Not a NSD. I was cleaning the seal round the shower screen and managed to snap it. It was getting brittle so not the end of the world. Bought one from Amazon £14.99. It’s a curved screen would’ve been cheaper if it was straight. We went up to the little builders merchants and bought 6 big bags of river stones for £2.50 a bag, being delivered next week. I’ve got a good idea of how I want it to look now. Saw something really effective in a garden while we were out, they’d made a pattern out of upside down blue bottles pushed into the soil, then normal pebbles to the sides, looked really good, would never have thought of doing that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Grrr... reminds me of when we had gas brought to the house and they had to send out separate teams to fill in the different holes (concrete, grass, asphalt). Granted, they did a good job.
Hang on for Monday, and meanwhile it looks as though you have a sunny weekend in store.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy Saturday 🥂
The thing is with Hive, you can fit it yourself, I paid extra for BG to fit it because I wanted it done properly. So not sure what the mystery with the boiler is. It’s a new boiler, not as if it’s an old one. I don’t understand why the front needs to come off. The bloke didn’t seem to know much about combi boilers, he was asking where the tank was.
Another lovely sunny day. DS and the GKs are coming later. Need to get the cushions out for the garden furniture.

On my walks I am always looking in people's front gardens and wanting to steal ideas from their gardens! Mum wants a Hive, mainly so she can keep the heating up! I have avoided it thus far...
Hope you have a lovely day with the family XXNevertheless she persisted.4
