Very stressed with Mr M this morning. Despite DD linking my account to her staff discount they haven't taken it off plus Mr SA's beer is missing from the delivery which means a trip to Mr T plus they've charged me £4 for delivery as the delivery pass payment didn't go through. Fuming as I've been on the website and looked at my account, the card details are up to date and they've managed to take today's delivery from my card. Nothing to do with card limits either as I have a £10k limit and £0 balance right now 😒😒 Will be ringing customer services shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

That doesn't seem right at all SA.
Hope you get some satisfaction from Customer Services.

Have spoken to customer services and they’ve refunded me the staff discount. They’ve given me an email address DD needs to contact with the problem. They can’t see any reason why the delivery pass payment didn’t go through, my card is fine and it’s not linked to an expired card. The same thing happened last year. They will try for payment again tomorrow and if it still doesn’t go through I’ll have to phone back, cancel the pass and buy a new one, which is what I did last year as far as I can remember. What a blooming faff 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Morning, happy hump day
Have been for a short run this morning, feel so much better for it. Amazing how many other runners/walkers I passed. Doing a live Zumba class after work for charity so today is definitely a cardio kind of day. Will be taking the dog for a lunchtime run too.
Should have another quiet work day today, still got quite a few things on my to do list to work through. Cleaning is bathroom day. Tonight's dinner is rice stuffed pepper and veg.
Today should be NSD 7.

Glad you enjoyed your run - sounds like a great way to start your day. Was going to say the COVID jab text probably isn't a scam but you know that already. I got my invite via text and it was easy to use. At the mass vaccine centre it was set up with a separate section for GP co-ordinated bookings which is what mine was.5

We we had our vaccine letters by text too.January spends - £587.586

Have had a quote for the bird cowl for the chimney - £121 including VAT. That’s if they can get to it with a crawler. Mr SA with his ex roofers hat on said we have a double hipped roof so they wouldn’t be able to get to it with a crawler, they’ll need a scaffold which will raise the price considerably. We’ve lived in this house since 1992 and the bird falling down the chimney was the first time it had happened in all those years. Maybe we should just take our chances? On the other hand I’m sure we never used to be inundated with wood pigeons until recently.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I’d take a chance at that price wow and scaffolding isn’t cheap5
