Forgot to say we have suddenly got Covid Marshals on the park across the road. Bearing in mind most days at any given time there are rarely any more than 6 people on what is a fairly decent size area. What a waste of resource. Saw them approach 2 dog walkers who were chatting yesterday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I decided on butternut squash dhal with rice for tonight’s dinner, curry feels so decadent for a Sunday 😆 The dog has been fine, took her for a long street walk after lunch, couldn’t face the mud fest on the park again.Have used some of the pamper box items for a facial and my skin feels lovely. I usually have a pamper session on Sundays anyway. I’ve been doing the pamper night once a week since I was about 14. Good job I read the instructions because what I thought was a tea bag was actually an infusion for a steam facial 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

That made me laugh - good job you didn't drink the steam infusion. Pamper sessions are so good for us. Glad you got some nice gifts today including the card from the dog! Did the cat sign it too?6

Made me chuckle too.

Morning, happy Monday
No Blackcats he forgot about the cat!
Have been for a 30 minutes walk round the block this morning as the weather was so nice. It has really set me up for the day. Have been thinking about going back to running first thing three times a week now the mornings are light. I did the C25k in the first lockdown but stopped running outdoors when the mornings got dark. Will take the dog on the park at lunchtime, Mr SA has taken her out just now. Will also fit in some arms and abs exercises after work.
Cleaning is the lounge/hall/stairs/landing. Tonight's dinner is stir fry, having leftover butternut squash dhal for lunch. Today will be NSD 6 of March.
Got a busy morning at work so must crack on.

All the delirium stories have reminded me that a relative who was normally the most logical person told me about the cherry picker machine outside his hospital window that picked up a bungalow and moved it around. Another time he saw flies in a drinking glass that had only water in - similar to Mr SA's rats, I guess. I have also read about Charles Bonnet syndrome, where people who have lost their sight will hallucinate as an (unconscious) way of adapting to the lack of visual stimuli. The difference there is that they know the things they see aren't real. Totally fascinating but it must be a nuisance for them.
I'm missing my running too: I managed up to about the end of last year but it just got too icy underfoot and since then I've got out of the way of it and my weight is going up to prove it.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Talking about hallucinations I was convinced there was somebody trying to kidnap me through the window and the had a fierce green dragon they were going to feed me to. The nurse even went and saw them off for me. I don’t think I’ve ever been so frightened in my life. It was so real. It was only when I’d revisited the hospital I’d realised the icu ward I was in was on the 4th floor 😳
Pleased you got your walk in this morning. It’s beautiful here too. I hope it’s like this tomorrow as I’m at the hospital and there’s a gorgeous walk with a river and waterfalls a aouple of minutes from there so I want a walk whilst we’re there.January spends - £587.586 -
The weather was lovely and sunny here, so I thought I would take advantage and get a load of washing hung outside on the line. Sun has gone in now, it has clouded over and it looks like there might be some rain coming!6

Morning all, happy Tuesday
Got a Mr M delivery coming later this morning. I've had a message from them saying they tried to take the delivery pass payment out today but it hasn't gone through so will have to make sure they've got up to date card details, I suspect I've had a new card since the payment was set up. I hate it when you get a new card as there are so many places you need to update the details on and it's easy to forget to do them all.
Should be a quiet work day today, got quite a few bits to catch up on. Cleaning is the kitchen and dining room, exercise is walking and yoga. Have taken a portion of veggie lasagne out of the freezer for tonight's dinner to have with salad. Mr SA is having beef stew in the slow cooker.
Does anyone know if the text messages telling you to book your Covid jab are a scam? DD had one yesterday and seems to think it's genuine but I'm not so sure. She's in her early 30s but has epilepsy so is possibly due one early because of this but there are so many scams doing the rounds at the moment.
