We use our ninja a lot, tho some stuff I still prefer the cooker for. DH has started to cook with it as well, made a lovely stew the other night which is a bonus. Xx

DD gets in from work at 9pm and the oven goes on yet again. I’m hoping the new Ninja oven will mean less electricity usage. My normal oven is rubbish, burns everything and needs replacing despite only being 3 years old. Hoping this latest addition to the Ninja family will mean I can put back that upheaval.

Morning all, happy Saturday 🥂

Weighed myself on the new scales this morning and I’m the same I was before Christmas so if I put any on it’s gone now. Still need to lose 5lbs to be back at goal though. Today’s exercise apart from walking is yoga. If the weather is dry will be taking the dog for a long walk today.

Need to go to the local shops for a few bits but will be a low spend day, don’t need much.

The freezer is nice and tidy yet again and I’ve made a list of everything in there. Will be using up stocks next week.

Tonight is curry night, Mr SA having a beef curry in the slow cooker, I’m having butternut squash dhal. The Prosecco is already chilling in the fridge, not that it’s a well known pairing with curry 😆 Mr SA has a bottle of Cobra to go with his though. I don’t actually like drinking alcohol with food, I prefer to just have water so it doesn’t spoil the taste. I’m not one of these people who pairs wine with food, I prefer to drink it before/after.

If I can get the dog off my knee I might be able to make a start...

We got no further than the park across the road with the dog today. She loves it and enjoyed chasing after her ball. Went twice, once this morning then in the afternoon. On the second trip it was quite busy, someone had set up some sort of kids football coaching and someone else was filming some young lads. Mr SA got all excited about the camera, hated to burst his bubble but had to tell him it was very likely these were students on a media type course at uni and he wouldn’t be making an appearance in the background on Central News 😆
