The second dog walk today was just a street walk round the block the long way round. Hardly anyone about, made Mr SA get out of bed and get his scooter out to get some fresh air. The dog wasn’t too chuffed at first, she knew she wasn’t going on the park as I put her coat on. After the initial protest she enjoyed it and had a good sniff around. Just putting my feet up now with a glass of wine before an early night due to lost sleep with the ambulance last night. Need to be fresh for tomorrow morning as it’s the day I do the weekly stats for work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Sun_Addict said:Reminds me of Mr SA spotting people with brand new white trainers at the airport when we were going on holiday. He always used to get his a bit dirty so they didn’t look new 😆
Just had a text from HSBC saying a Mr A Khan has been added as a payee to my account, click on the link if you haven’t added him. I’ve never had an HSBC account, scam or what 😱 This type of thing seems to be on the increase, shame on them 🤬
I usually drive over my new gear with the car a few times to dirty it up first 🤣🤣🤣
Other half thinks its weird 🙃7 -
enthusiasticsaver said:I agree with @Cherryfudge . Devon and Cornwall police stopped more than 50 people yesterday from coming into the area and apparently all of them were people visiting second homes down here and I would bet many of them were from London where infection rates are through the roof. It makes me really angry when people cannot just do as they are told and stay at home. Whilst I understand travelling to more remote places for exercise sounds sensible they have put a message out that we should not drive for exercise and should stick to walking from home which is fine if you are semi rural as we are but harder in built up towns and cities. I know personally though people are travelling to remote spots but an acquaintance of mine had to call the coastguard out to rescue her last week when she slipped and injured her ankle on the icy and muddy coast path which I know is at least a 20 minute drive from where she lives. I think they fined her too. That puts more at risk as she had to be taken to hospital for an x Ray as if they don't have enough to do at the moment. I would love to go to our nearest stretch of coast but I don't want to get fined and can understand why not getting in the car is better to save the emergency services not being called upon especially when weather conditions are bad.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Same with us. There are a couple of country parks and riverside walks nearby but realise this is where everyone else is going. I have no choice but to do walks very close to home right now. Thankfully not that many people know about the park across the road as we’re on a side road.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

I have walked off the beaten track we are pretty rural here but live near a big forest which we are members of haven’t been since lockdown it’s to busy they having to close the car parks and asking people on Facebook not to come I would rather stay where I’m at plenty of rough tracks and a park at the bottom of the street nobody uses so getting plenty of exercise and don’t see another soul7

I had a text the other day from “NatWest” saying a mr j wyatt had been added to my payees on my mobile phone banking app. If this was incorrect to click on a link. I don’t have the app on my phone. The annoying thing is they look really convincing no wonder people are taken in by them.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.006

Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Very dark and gloomy weather here today but at least it's not icy.
New 4 week budget period starts today, always feels like a clean slate. Determined to keep up with coming in below budget.
I did the PE with Joe earlier but will still carry on with my 28 day HIIT plan, today's exercise is lower body HIIT. Today's cleaning task is the living room. Will take the dog on the park at lunchtime, Mr SA takes her in the morning while I'm working. Tonight's dinner is left over butternut squash and lentil dhal from Saturday. Will be making a batch of soup for weekday lunches using up whatever veg I've got in my fridge.
Very excited (sad I know) that my new Ninja oven arrived this morning 😁 Looking forward to testing it out. Like the Foodi it weighs a ton, no one can say their products aren't robust!
