Happy Friday.
It has been a long week this week

Not a NSD after all. I've bought a Ninja oven/grill from QVC, today's special value and pay in 3 instalments. I've been thinking about getting one for a while and it would work well with my Foodi. Hopefully between the two gadgets it will make replacing the oven less urgent and save money in the long run.
Took the dog on the park earlier and although the pavements looked ok there was black ice, so really slippy. Even the grass was slippy. Mr SA has just taken her out for a ride on his scooter but I've warned him not to try and take it down the path to the park.

Despite me asking Mr SA not to take his scooter to the park he did and struggled getting it back up the slope because of the black ice. Then he had a fall outside on the patio. He managed to get up with my assistance but it's shook him up.
I'm getting more to grips with the Foodi and using it every day. This lunchtime I used it as a grill to make Mr SA bacon sandwiches and the bacon was ready in 8 minutes. It's really easy to clean too so a lot less mess. Mr SA thinks the food tastes nicer too.
On the airer front, I'm a lot happier with it today. Last night I put a load of washing on it and left it by the kitchen patio doors, not switched on though. This morning, despite it not being switched on, most of the washing was half dry so it only took a couple of hours to finish it off. As with the Foodi, it's getting used to these gadgets and finding out how to make best use of them.

Hope Mr SA is ok?
I was expecting the footpaths here to be a bit icy at lunchtime but it all seems to have melted now. My car has thawed out for the first time in a few days so it must be a bit milder here today. Still not what you would call warm though.
I keep looking at the Foodi but it is a big lump of a thing to have sat on the kitchen worktop and we only have limited space available. It certainly wouldn't fit where our air fryer currently sits.6 -
Yes it’s a bit of a beast and weighs a ton so you wouldn’t want to be moving it about. I had a Breville Halo sat where it is now, which I’ve got rid of as it’s past its best. I have quite a lot of worktop space fortunately so room for the oven too.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Fits quite nicely here but needs to be pulled away from under cupboards.

My friend has just recently got one.
She got me to order a book from Amazon before my Prime trial finished.
Will try to remember what it is called.

I think that’s the book I got free on the Kindle from Prime recently. I’m just bunging anything in it and seeing how it comes out 😆 I’m also on the Ninja Warriors FB group, pick up loads of tips and recipes from there. Everyone is scared of it to start off with, then the next thing you know they’re posting photos of their culinary triumphs 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

If you use it regularly then it's a good use of space.Hope Mr SA is ok after his fall. We haven't had any snow here at all and not much frost. Plenty of rain though a few days ago. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
