I'd be interested in your feedback on the new PON book, it has good reviews but the 'look inside' sample recipes are things I couldn't eat or not exactly recipes (bagel with cream cheese anyone?)My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

It’s the third book. I’ll let you know what it’s like redo. It’s getting rave reviews on the PON FB group. Still waiting for delivery of mine. When I buy cookbooks there are always loads of recipes that I don’t make because they contain meat, although I often just leave it out.
I forgot all about the poop in the garden yesterday 😂 The first thing Mr SA asked me this morning was did I clear it up 🤨 You’ll be pleased to read I’ve cleared it up now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I’ve had a quick glance through the new PON and can already see loads of things I’d make @redofromstart. I can’t see the bagel recipe you referred to, all look to be proper recipes. Probably best for you to have a look through it in a shop first to see what you think but it’s a definite thumbs up from me 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Update on Mr SA’s prescription saga part 200, had an email from Echo saying GP has sent them the prescription, it’s now on its way. So he’ll have two lots as I only picked one up from the chemist on Saturday. Probably best to have one in hand tbh. What a palaver!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

What a palaver indeed with the meds. It definitely won’t do any harm to be ahead of yourself just in case some become hard to get hold of with lorries stuck in ports....we don’t know what’s around the corner.January spends - £587.587

I really liked the first two PON books so I want to like it, just the final recipe on the Azn 'look inside' kindle thing was a smoked salmon and Philadelphia bagel. Hairy Dieters 1 and 2 remain my most used cook books. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I did find the bagel eventually, it was a suggestion for Christmas Day breakfast. If you like the first two books you’ll like this one as it’s in the same vein. I’m particularly interested in making the chickpea and vegetable roast looks gorgeous 😋
Mr SA has started up a pester for something odd - Brut body spray. No idea what’s set him off on this but he’s driving me nuts going on about it. He’s going back to the 70s with this one. He often harks back to things from the past, it’s like he’s stuck in a time warp.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
