Morning all, happy Sunday 😁
I’ve been up since 6am, reading and pottering. Mr SA and the dog still fast asleep. I need to get more done today, feel like I’ve wasted time the past couple of days.So today I want to finally get around to patching up the bits on the bathroom ceiling where I managed to get dark green paint earlier this year when I touched up the walls. The white paint has been in the hall for months waiting for me to get around to it. It’s only a 5 minute job 😂I also intend to meal plan for the week and finalise Tuesday’s online shop. Might make a start on the dining room cupboard of doom, another cupboard that gets sorted out regularly and always ends up a tip again.
Exercise will be walking the dog and a 30 minutes Pilates session from my WW app.Today WILL be a NSD, really need to get more of these in the bag. New 4 week budget period starts tomorrow, have spent far too much over the last couple of weeks so am determined to rein it in now.
Have a splendid Sunday xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Well Spotify don’t make it easy to change from Premium to free. They want all sorts of info, screen shots from PayPal and recently liked songs 🙄 I’ve cancelled the PayPal monthly payment so they won’t be able to take anything. I think Spotify is brilliant but don’t need the premium package right now, I only used it for downloading music to listen to when walking to work so haven’t used it this year. There’s so much free stuff available out there via Sounds app, Amazon etc why pay for it?
Just had a terrible storm, torrential rain and strong winds. Sun back out now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Finally I’ve patched up the smudged paint on the bathroom ceiling 🎉🥂🥳 While I had the paint out and a brush in my hand I gave the door a lick of paint too. Then while I was in the bathroom I gave it a clean. Also tidied up the cupboard of doom, didn’t take long it wasn’t as bad as I thought.Took the dog on the park twice. Going to do a Pilates session shortly and then have a bath. I won’t be repeating last Sunday’s disaster with Prosecco 😂Have just made a batch of root veg and lentil soup for next week’s lunches. Tonight I’m trying a vegan steak made out of mushrooms, something I bought from Iceland, never tried them before. Will roast some root veg to go with it and make some red onion gravy. Can you tell I’m trying to use up the root veg 😂 Mr SA has got proper steak with roast potatoes and veg.And it was a NSD 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Well the jury is out on the mushroom steak. Definitely tastes of mushrooms, not bad but would I buy again? It’s a no from me. Not a fan of false meat, don’t mind Quorn mince but no other Quorn products.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
