Sorry you're in Tier 3 SA but I'm glad you're not going to let it get you down and I love your list of positives
. We don't know what sort of Christmas we'll be allowed to have but hopefully we can all find a way to enjoy it somehow.
I do hope people aren't going to start panic buying again. They are limiting some items in Mr M (like antibac wipes) which is not a good sign. I've been keeping our stocks of dried food, tins, etc, quite high, which I'm glad of now as all the value items seemed to sell out during lockdown and I ended up spending much more on food than usual.
It's good that you got your eyebrows done in the nick of time!

Yes we’re in Tier 3 thanks to the uni students. We were doing well before they came back 😡Eyebrows wise, mine are pretty sparse so don’t need much waxing, the tinting makes a real difference. Not sure I’d try tinting myself in case I ended up with black bushy eyebrows 😱 During lockdown I just used an eyebrow pencil for the colour. Downside of having fair hair/eyebrows I’m afraid.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning, happy Halloween 🎃
The dog woke me up to go out at 5.30, although I did go back to bed.I have to go into the city centre at lunchtime to pick up my reading glasses. Might do a bit of Christmas shopping. I’ve had £55 on my Boots Advantage card for about 2 years now and it’s about time I spent them. Don’t know why I’m hanging on to them. It will be interesting to see how busy it is.Planning to do Joe Wicks Halloween workout this morning. Also need to pick a paper up and take the dog out.

Forgot to mention, after many weeks of STS, I've finally lost 1lb 😁 Got half a pound to go before I'm within goal range which is the next mini milestone. Ended up not doing the Joe Wicks workout as by the time I'd got back from fetching the paper and taking the dog on the park it was almost over. Getting plenty of exercise today anyway as planning to walk into the city centre and back. It's really mild again today but very dull and windy.
Not liking the sound of this national lockdown proposed, no big surprise though. There was a heads up earlier this week on a FB holiday forum I belong to, someone with a friend in the know. I think we all knew it would happen eventually. Not that it will make that much difference to what I'm doing now as I only really leave the house to go to the shop or take the dog out. At least it'll be a lot clearer who can do what and where.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
It won't make much difference to me either SA as long as schools stay open as in the term time I only go to school and buy food. If it makes the infection rates go down then I suppose it's the right thing to do. If they'd been stricter earlier maybe we could have avoided a full lock down though!
I hope you get what you want with your B00ts points. This could be your chance to buy non-essential things before lockdown. Well done on the weight loss.

Well done with the weight loss SA. Good news too that you've got your eyebrows done in time! Mine are very sparse too - I use a pencil - it's the third of the eyebrow at the end that seems to have disappeared. I did think of having then microbladed at one time but the expensive upkeep put me off. I might see if I can buy a tint in Superdrug as it seems to work for you.Hope you manage to get some goodies with your Advantage points.Lockdown news is dire........☹️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Well I didn’t buy anything with my Advantage points, in fact I spent nothing. I’ve got my new reading glasses now and chosen the frames for my free VDU glasses (courtesy of work). They will be delivered to my house rather than me having to go back to pick them up. The city centre wasn’t very busy at all despite it being Saturday afternoon. A lot of pubs and cafes were closed despite them serving food. I noticed quite a few younger people dressed up in Halloween costumes and definitely in groups of more than six. It wasn’t a pleasant experience to be honest. So today’s positives are:
1. New reading glasses are great 👍
2. Lost 1lb
3. Weather quite decent, despite rain late morning, windy, but very mild and sunny this afternoon
4. Did 21,000 steps
5. Not having to keep going to the door for trick or treaters, shame for the kids though
6. Strictly on tonight
Will really need to dig deep for positives once we go into this national lockdown to be announced any time now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -

Well done on the weight loss, SA. Nearly there now!
@Seasidegal58, I have the same thing with my eyebrows. In my case I blame it on an underactive thyroid. Eyebrow pencils are a big help!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all, happy November 😎
Going to be a tough month for those of us in England but nothing we haven’t come through before - we can do this 💪
Just been looking at the latest rules and shocked to read I’m classed as clinically vulnerable now I’m 60, even though I haven’t got and, have never had, any health conditions whatsoever. So boo to that 👎
Weight-wise I just want to get back to my goal weight, still have 5.5lbs to go. I’m well within healthy weight range for my height. Unfortunately for me I have a very tiny frame so need to be at the lower end of the healthy weight scale or I feel sluggish. 5.5lbs might not sound a lot but makes a big difference to me. Anyway that can be my lockdown project 😁
Plans for today:
Joe Wicks workout
Take the dog on the park
Meal plan for next week
Spanish lessons
NSD
Read my book
Quick clean and tidy round
Have a super Sunday xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)11
