Morning all, happy Monday 😎
Having work IT issues today, my mini display port adaptor has given up the ghost and I can't use my second screen which is a pain. I've got to buy a docking station, work will give me up to £40 towards it. Need to get one asap as I need two screens to work effectively.
Nipped out for some bread this morning and gosh was it wet and windy! Blue skies and sunshine at the minute though, hopefully will stay that way.
Today's to do list aside from working:
Take the dog on the park at lunchtime and after work
Run on the treadmill after work
Clean living room/hall/stairs (as per today's Fly Lady task)
Order docking station
Amend online grocery order
Have a magnificent Monday x

Docking station was almost £100 😱 Thankfully work will pay for all of it and my desk will be a lot tidier without cables all over.
Mr SA has been rambling on about visiting my mum’s grave before it gets busy at the cemetery. A tad puzzled about what he means by this 🤔
Thank goodness work is done for the day, been a pain with only one tiny screen.

It’s not really been an eventful day apart from the IT issues. Still a few positives:
That I don’t need to worry about my job - that is a massive positive right now
A nice if rather windy walk on the park with my dog at lunchtime
Leftover butternut squash risotto for tonight’s dinner - yummy 😋

No I wasn’t worried about my job @beanielou, just saying how glad I am that I don’t have to worry about it when there’s so many people who are worried about their jobs right now. My workplace won’t be going anywhere anytime soon 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning 😎
No morning walk as it's slinging it down. Thought I had yet more IT problems this morning as my SP said it had a flat battery despite it being plugged in. Thankfully easily solved by turning the charging connecter upside down 🙃
Got a Mr M online shop coming this morning. I know I'd changed to Mr A but Mr M had a better offer on Mr SA's beer so swapped. Let's see how we go with subs/missing items this week...
Have ordered several bits online, some for Christmas, some household things, may need to make a list and check them off as they arrive to make sure I've got everything. It's going to be like Grand Central Station here if they all arrive on the same day. I'm forever buying batteries and find that Duracell don't last any longer than cheap ones. Duracell are £3.99 for 12 in Savers but have looked on Amazon and have got 40 batteries for £6.99. Not heard of the brand but they have good reviews, so we shall see...
To do today:
Work - got a team meeting this afternoon and they want us to put cameras on - ugh! Means I'll have to put a bit of slap on and brush my hair.
Put online shop away
Make Mr SA something with stewing beef in the slow cooker (currently defrosting)
Clean kitchen/dining room as per Fly Lady
Spanish
Take the dog on the park
Pilates session
Have a terrific Tuesday x

Hello - great to catch up. adding my thoughts on the current situation, will just say an interview with Terry Waite on FB yesterday summed it up for me. That I sponsor a child in Mexico and I have looked at what’s happening there. Yes I appreciate there will be pain and hardship economically for many, but we are a first world country, we are resilient, and we have a free NHS and welfare system that is there for us if we need it, and we never know when that might be. We need now to step and take responsibility for our actions, and I know dear MSE friends you all do..... let’s be role models, and Take care and love one another - keep counting our blessings however minute they may be. Look out for those who are struggling and do not be afraid to tell someone loved one or stranger if you are.Hugs to allAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Do you think he means Remembrance Day?
Crumbs that's a lot for the docking station!
@Bubblesmum, I'll second that.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
