Found it interesting about your shopping and Mr M. We have been loyal Ocado customers and I’m really missing their partnership with Waitrose. Having said that Waitrose delivery is poor as we still don’t get missing items or substitutes.As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Morning, happy hump day 😎
Lovely sunny morning here and I've already been down to the big Mr T and picked up a few bits. A lot of their shelves are now full of Christmas stuff. Looking back to a week or so ago when the media were posting pictures of empty shelves in supermarkets, I did think to myself at the time I bet they're only clearing the shelves for Christmas stock. I think the media have a lot to answer for by making people panic buy. I don't really buy much extra food in for Christmas anyway as DS as the GKs usually come on Christmas Eve for a few snacks, we don't have any other visitors.
Pleased to say that so far I've done almost 8,000 steps already and I feel so much better for it. Maybe I should walk down to big Mr T every morning even if it's just to pick a paper up. Will take the dog out at lunchtime then again after work and find a Pilates or Yoga workout for today's extra exercise as I've done plenty of cardio carrying a heavy bag of shopping up the hills on the way back from Mr T.
Money-wise just waiting for payday now.
Have a wonderful Wednesday x

Managed to get a last ditch eyebrow appointment for tomorrow before my local beauty salon has to close due to Tier 3 restrictions. Felt so safe last time I went there, the young woman who owns it tries so hard to keep it going. So gutted for her. The gin/real ale bar at the end of my road will also have to close as they don’t serve food. On the plus side hairdressers still allowed to open.What a blooming mess 😩👎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9

Beauty salons in our Tier 3 area are allowed to stay open, no wonder no one understands what's going on.Glad you got in for your appointment though. Hope you got all the steps in you needed .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.8

@Sun_Addict The whole thing is ridiculous. Can’t go out for a drink but can for a meal, can’t buy alcohol after 9pm what the actual f**k and wife can’t get her eyebrows done BUT I can freely walk into occupied properties with vulnerable people or a HMO in Lenton full of students to put a value on them. Not gonna lie, I’m glad it’s not affecting my business (again) but there is NO sense to it whatsoever.
@Sunshine_girl2 Not in Notts you can’t, we’re not just Tier 3, we’re Tier 3+ because our council don’t think our local economy and small businesses have had enough of a punishment.
@RelievedSheff We’re all in it together now mate.9 -
All in it together as long as you live north of Watford. Over 50 years on and nothing has changed!

Morning 😎
Only been out for a paper this morning so only 3,000 steps but will be going out later to the beauty salon and walking the dog. Will go for a run on the treadmill after work.
Today is my Friday because I've got tomorrow off 😁 Not that I can go anywhere but it's still a day off. Will make a second attempt at watching Rebecca tomorrow afternoon, still cross with myself that I fell asleep last time. I can't sit for long without falling asleep, I've always been the same. My brain must think I'm in bed if I stop moving.
This tiers business is getting ridiculous now with different rules, it's so confusing. Of course the infection rates are going to go up if the test is more widely available. Makes you wonder just how many people had it in the first wave and didn't know.
Have a terrific Thursday despite all the doom/gloom/scaremongering. As the bloke in Dad's Army said "we're all doomed" x
