I can't think what further restrictions they can put on where I live apart from locking us up. I do hope you get to see your friend on Friday SA .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

Have just had a total nightmare with Mr SA. He took the dog out on his scooter at 9.15 and was still out at 10.45, he's never out this long. I was going to phone him to make sure everything was ok when I noticed his phone was in the living room. Just after 11 he was knocking on the front door with the dog and the upshot is his scooter broke down and he was rescued by some roofers who brought him, the dog and the scooter back in their van. It's the scooter battery again that's failed, I suspect this was the case on Sunday when he couldn't get the power to go up the hill. He's a devil for over-charging everything and this is what wears the batteries out, he's been told this time and time again but takes no notice. His scooter is on charge constantly when not in use. He was the same when he was working with his van he was forever filling it up with diesel the minute the needle went slightly down. I've only just about stopped shaking I was so worried, it might sound awful but it's the dog I worry about more than anything, she's the innocent party in all this. I've told him not to go further than the park across the road unless I'm with him in future.
And breathe..

Forgot to say when he got back he went to make himself a coffee, managed to flood the machine with water and now it won't work 😒I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Nice to hear the roofers helped out. We hear so much bad at the moment that I think we sometimes forget that there is still a lot of good people around. Sorry to hear about the coffee machine, hopefully it will be okay once it dries out!

The thing is with the coffee machine is that I said when it conked out I'd get a Nespresso machine as there seem to be a better variety of reasonably priced pods for them, including cheap ones in Aldi/Lidl. I'm hoping that I can get it going again for now as I've just had two boxes of pods delivered with my grocery order.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I bet you we’re worried sick. Fancy him forgetting his phone 😱
I think you deserve a rest and little something to calm your nerves🥂 medicinal of course.... Do you have one of the tracker devices on his phone - just for your peace of mind. I’m not sure how I feel about these tracking devices - all a bit big brother.....but it would give you peace of mind - he’d have to take his phone with him though 🤞

I think a household ban is going to be announce tonight when Bojo addresses the nation, I'm supposed to be going to my mums next Tuesday to have my hair cut 😟it hasn't been cut by a hairdresser since March 🙀apparently anyone who is caring for children or vulnerable adults will be exempt which makes a mockery of the whole thingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1207

I think they are sticking with the current "Rule of 6" for now. But no doubt they will at some point reduce that to no out of household contact.
Looks like I will be working from home for another six months. Deep joy!7
