I admire your steps....I’ve done 92 😳 need to work on this bit by bit 🤔 and build it up again.
Enjoy your coffee machine. I bought dh one a few christmases ago. It’s hardly been used. It’s a lovely slimline machine and I bought the milk heater separately. A waste of money in our hands.....but he won’t part with it 😳January spends - £587.587 -
I'm another packing up summer clothes to put them away...
Some I haven't even worn this year, so I'm putting some aside to donate or sell. No good hanging on to things that would be perfect for some unspecified occasion that's not arisen in five years! (Included is a jacket I bought for a wedding about six years ago and wore something else!) They won't create a lot of wardrobe space but any space is good and someone else might like them).
Re the worrisome Mr SA, have you thought about completing a Herbert Protocol for him? Working with vulnerable adults, I know quite a few people who have one. Keep a couple of copies so you have a spare to hand to the Police if ever he goes AWOL. It lists things like where he might head to, former addresses and medication, as well as a photo.

Milann you should be resting not stepping 😀
Thanks for the info Cherry, I'll take a look at that, might be worth having in place, he doesn't make a habit of disappearing but you never know.
Have been on a CBT workshop this morning, run by work, about handling stress/anxiety/depression caused by Covid. It was quite useful and interesting to see other people's comments in the chat function. A lot of people aren't handling it well at all, mainly down to the lack of real life social interaction.
Mr SA's scooter is in for repair, it didn't charge up with the new charger. I'm so glad we didn't buy a scooter as Motability foot the bills for the many, many times it goes in for repair. Sunday's trip probably didn't help, the roads were very uneven the closer we got to the countryside and he was scooting all over a field at one point. I'm sure he thinks it's an off-road bike sometimes.
The cat is hassling me for food even though she's got some in her dish. The dog isn't eating her food either. They're both being a pain today.
Weather is really miserable, dark, gloomy and wet. Glad I got my walk done first thing.

I know I need to rest but I need to move too. I’m getting very stiff and sore. I’m up to 495 steps now 😄😄
Its a good job you get the scooter repaired and don’t have to pay. At least you’ll know where he is whilst he’s out of action.January spends - £587.588 -
Ended up taking the dog on the park as Mr SA couldn’t. Got me a break from work, fresh air and some more steps. Did a 30 minute yoga/Pilates session after work. The coffee machine arrived this afternoon. All set up and running ready for the morning 👍
The trouble with Mr SA being out of action with his scooter is it now falls to me to take the dog on the park. This and mowing the lawn are the only things he does that are helpful.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Morning all 😎
Running a bit late today, have been to the big Mr T's again then had to take the dog on the park before work. Means the step count is just a few short of 10k though. Got soaked going to Mr T but the sun is out now. Going to the big Mr T's is a good way to get my steps up even if I just need a paper and gets me some fresh air first thing. The downside is other bits keep creeping into my basket - who knew I needed rhubarb, white tea & rose lemonade (I though it might be nice with a drop of gin).
Looking forward to going to see my friend tomorrow but not looking forward to having to get the bus. I'll walk into town and back from my house but as she lives in the next county walking to hers isn't an option.
Fly Lady is the bathroom/desk area today so will weave this into my day.
Hopefully Mr SA will get his scooter back today.
Have a terrific Thursday x

Enjoy your trip to see your friend.
I’d say the rhubarb, tea and rose lemonade is an absolute necessity 👍😂😂 enjoy.January spends - £587.586 -

I am glad that you're going to see your friend. The lemonade sounds lovely. Yes, I can just see that in a tall glass, lots of ice and a very big measure of gin perhaps with a little strawberry to garnish?Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8

That sounds spot on Toni’sfriend 👍
So the plan for tomorrow is leave home at 7.15, walk to town, arrive at 8am, go to Primani for slippers and tea towels, M&S for 8.30 opening, spend £12 voucher in food hall, then coffee with free coffee voucher, potter around town until 11am bus to friend’s house, should be there around 12-ish. Really looking forward to a day out of the house and a break from Mr SA.
His scooter still not fixed, apparently has a faulty wire that affects charging. He’s been driving me nuts today, tomorrow can’t come soon enough.
