Think if there was going to be a nationwide household ban he might have announced it in his address to parliament like they have have done in Scotland and Northern Ireland. I'm more inclined that they might introduce it on a regional basis for the time being. Although I do think it will probably be introduced nationwide eventually.
I just don't know what to say about Mr S A apart from he's very lucky there are so many nice people about to help him when things go wrong. That doesn't help you though. What a worry! Have a very large gin.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
I don’t know why Boris is making an announcement at 8pm tonight as it’s all been on the news. We’ve escaped the no visiting ban for the time being it appears. My employer has been encouraging us to go back into the office but that’s all off now, advised to WFH. I appreciate it must be difficult to know what to do for the best, it’s all uncharted territory. I wouldn’t want to be the one making the decisions. It can’t help when some people won’t stick to the rules.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

I agree, SA. No fan of Boris but these are really difficult decisions and if people are blatantly ignoring them they are the ones to blame. Just can't understand why people can't use common sense.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

He’s a nightmare beanie 😩 Little did I know when I thought I’d got the stress of DS and DD over with and it was time to relax they would be replaced with a giant toddler 😱 I must’ve been really bad in a former life.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

You have my sympathy SA. I have one at home very similar to your OH and there are days when I am not sure I can do this anymore. It's so tiring. All that clutter used to be money7

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere about a watch with a tracking device. Could that be an option? It may save you some worry, especially if Mr SA gets worse as he may wander more. He would be less likely to go out without a watch than a mobile. It would also reduce your worry levels which would be a really good thing.

Morning 😎
Not sure about a tracking watch for Mr SA, he has a drawer full of watches he never wears. His phone is a dinosaur so doubt it would support a tracking device. I need to remember to yell 'phone' at him every time he leaves the house.
Been up since 5.30am again trying to fix the coffee machine, been on You Tube, nothing has got it going. It's over 5 years old so have had our money's worth out of it. I can't drink instant coffee so that's not an option. Popped down to the big Mr T to see if they had a machine but no luck. Bought some coffee bags to tide us over and have ordered a new machine from Argos which is coming this afternoon, not too bad at £39.95 plus the £3.95 delivery. I didn't want to buy a more expensive model as I really want a Nespresso machine at some stage. I only drink black coffee and Mr SA has black with milk in, we don't need a machine with fancy attachments just a basic one.
So much for trying for a NSD today!
A plus point it's got my steps up to 7,000 already and I walked up one of the steep hills on the way back so my Fitbit thinks I've climbed 19 flights of stairs.
Fly Lady is the bedroom today. Will fit it in as and when. Need to pack away my summer clothes and get the autumn/winter ones at some stage.
Have a wonderful Wednesday x

Don't know if this helps but J*hn L**wis have a little Nespresso machine at 69.99 - in white. I've had a similar one and the cheap pods from Ald* and L**l worked well. You do need to keep filling up the water but that's easy and it's a solid little machine.7
