What a shame about the park, though very nice that you met someone so helpful, and saw your old house. I assume the 'correct' entrance is the one that's miles away? I seem to remember you've mentioned this park before, so well done on breaking new ground getting there. It's quite a trek. And who needs the gym when there are hills?!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

On 21,000 steps at the moment, that’s more like it 👍 My feet are aching though and will be glad to get in the bath. Have been sitting in the sun reading my book, surrounded by spiders in their webs. They are everywhere 😱
Making a spiced butternut squash stew for tonight with dumplings made from flour and fat free yogurt, an old favourite of mine. Making two portions, will have the other for lunch tomorrow. Mr SA is having steak, roast potatoes and veg.Looking forward to putting my feet up and relaxing later. No doubt will fall asleep watching TV 💤I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
I am not surprised that your feet hurt 🤕

I don’t mind cooking him meat as long as I don’t have to eat it or touch it.The proper entrance to the country park is around 4 miles away but in a different direction to the way we went. We also have another country park about 4 miles away. Lucky for those who have a car, the countryside is very close, less than 5 miles. I have to take into consideration walking there and back then walking round when we get there. Plus more importantly is there a toilet 🤣 One day this week I’m planning to walk to the road I used to live on and see if I can still do the hill. I remember having to walk sideways on it because you can’t do it straight on. It was interesting in winter when it was icy, used to have to crawl up on hands and knees. The hills round here are killers but the views are fantastic.
Even the dog is worn out tonight. It’s not often you can wear out a Jack Russell 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

No wonder you have good leg muscles!

Morning, happy Monday 😎
Instead of running this morning have walked to the big Mr T and back to pick a few bits up. This clocks up the same amount of steps as a 5k run so have killed two birds with one stone.
New budget period starts today, need to look at finances at some point today but I know there was a small underspend last week. Fly Lady is kitchen/dining room, although the kitchen gets cleaned every day anyway.
Lovely sunny day here but set to change as the week goes on unfortunately.
Have a good one x

Ever make a start on doing a job then wish you'd never bothered? This morning I sprayed the oven with oven cleaner, it said leave on at least 30 minutes so decided to leave it a lot longer with a view to washing it off at lunchtime. OMG the mess 😮 The spray is doing the job but didn't realise how much brown gunky stuff it would produce. Will now be tackling after work. I've got Mr SA doing some jobs around the garden, albeit very slowly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
