I only told him in case I slipped up and mentioned my friend. As my mum used to say ‘oh what a tangled web we weave..’ I told him I might be meeting her so leaves scope for saying I’m not after all. I shouldn’t have to lie at all though but saves so much hassle.

It’s so annoying that he’s trying to control you all the time.  Regardless of his disabilities it’s ok to shout at him !

I would have it out with him now,point out how much you do as well as working and that you are entitled to some down time,it's not your fault if he chooses not to bother with a social life or friends and that he will drive you away if he carries on and then who will run round after him 😡he's lucky he's got you I would have left by now

The thing is, I do understand the impulse and the logic of simply lying or not saying anything, but it is very hard not to feel like you are not important - like not important enough to have your own things however small (to others) to enjoy and share. Plus it is not fair to have to keep the secrets - as if you really are doing something wrong. 
Don't get me wrong - I totally do it, before we found out his dad was ill I was off to see D'Head and I had a lie all ready to go. It did make me sad tho. but it really isn't worth the hassle or the upset.

We’ve had this conversation time and time again onebrokelady, it makes no difference. I think I tell him most days I need my space. 

Weighed myself this morning and have stayed the same, a bit disappointed but will plod on.
Have done loads of steps today, just short of 18,000 up to now. The dog is worn out 🤣
Weather has been glorious. Sat in the garden this afternoon reading my book, glanced down and had a huge spider on my knee 😱 One of those furry ones with the long dangly legs 😱

Have made some spicy black bean burgers tonight. Having one for dinner with sweet potato wedges and salad. 

Keeping my fingers crossed no extra restrictions get put in place before Friday because I’m really looking forward to seeing my friend 🤞

Only bought a paper today, no other spends 👍

Forgot to say, work are making noises about going back to the office. Our big chief says we must start to go back. So we can work with more than 6 people but can’t meet more than 6 people socially 🤫

Hope you don't get any restrictions before that. It's all starting to look a bit bleak again. isn't it? I'm supposed to be going on holiday next Saturday. Restrictions is place where we're going a and we can deal with them as they stand at the moment but it means that friends who normally come to see us for a few days won't be able to. I'm on tenterhooks in case something else is introduced. I worry a lot so I'm actually feeling very stressed and not sleeping. Silly really because in the scheme of things it's not that important when you think about it but then I read about people going abroad, not isolating when they come back. going on pub crawls, infecting others and causing all sorts of measures being introduced that impact greatly on people who are following the rules. How can people be so selfish. Sorry. Rant over.

Hope things work out because more than anyone you need a bit of space and relaxation.

I know you've already spoken to him and I do know it will fall on deaf ears but I feel so annoyed and frustrated for you that he can't or won't see just how much you do and that you deserve a bit of time off, oh well you will just have to keep quietly making sure you get to see friends and take no notice of what he says 
Yuck to the spider, I've had a few in the house this week that have had me running off screaming 😀
I do hope you don't get any more restrictions so you can see your friend. These new rules are starting to annoy me now, we can't sit with more than 6 people in our own house but close contact sport like rugby is still allowed to be played, where's the sense in that
