Morning all, happy Sunday 😎
Sitting with a hair mask on drinking coffee and relaxing before Mr SA and the dog get up. Later this morning the plan is to walk to a local country park, it’s about 4 miles away, can see it from my bedroom window but never been. It opened about 7 years ago. Somewhere different to walk the dog.Need to do a meal plan today, will be using up what I’ve got in the freezer this coming week I think. New budget period starts tomorrow.
Have a great Sunday xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Morning everyone, yes these new restrictions coming in at least partly because some people wont follow rules are infuriating, I agree- and I normally am libertarian. I read one comment that made me laugh: 7 children aren't allowed to gather to feed ducks, but it's ok for 30 men to gather to shoot them!
SA, please keep on doing what you need to keep your sanity and keep on being you. Mr SA doesn't know how lucky he is. Love Humdinger x6 -

Enjoy the walk- sounds lovely.
I hope we aren’t stopped from seeing people in any new restrictions. I value my family and friends more than pubs and sporting events 😡😡

Enjoy your walk, SA. I would love to have a country park close enough to walk to but we would need to go on public transport to get to the nearest one and that's being discouraged at the moment. To be honest I don't know that I would want to go on a bus at tall. We're having to make do with two local parks which are really quite small but it's better than nothing. I suppose I should count my blessings that I'm not stuck in a tower block with nowhere to go. At least we have a communal back garden although the rules about sitting there are a bit blurred.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

The trip to the country park wasn’t the best idea. The entrance was too small for Mr SA to get his scooter through. The main entrance was a long walk in another direction. Plus it’s so hilly round here his scooter couldn’t hack the hills on the return journey and conked out right on a steep part. A kind (and very strong) man stopped his car and pushed Mr SA and the scooter up the hill. Had to go a longer way round on the way back to avoid hills. My legs are aching right now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Just been on the country park’s website and we were at the wrong entrance it’s unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Should’ve checked before we set out. The village it’s in was the one I used to live in from the age of 10 when we moved up to the Midlands from down south. Brought back some very happy memories and saw my old house which is on the steepest hill in the county. The road literally disappears like a roller coaster going down it’s so steep. No way Mr SA could’ve got his scooter up there!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
