Hope Mr SA recovers quickly and it is just a bug. My gdds had a funny sickness bug which made them headachey a couple of weeks ago....they hadn’t been out of the garden either. We decided it must have been an airborne bug - if such a thing exists - I thought these bugs needed close contact. Dd watched her like a hawk thinking it was THE virus.....thankfully we don’t think it was.
It’s totally overcast and cold here - it looks as if it could pour down any minute. The sun most certainly hasn’t got it’s hat on today - so no hip hip hooray here. I want to paint my fence panels. At least the wind will dry them out as it rained and hailed on them yesterday.
I had a questionnaire from my gym to ask my views about going back in July if certain measures are put in place.....watch this space.January spends - £587.589 -
The sun finally came out and have been sitting in the sunshine reading, although the dog kept bringing me her ball which ruined my concentration somewhat. Then Mr SA decided to go for a shower and locked us outside 😩Earlier watched the film Fishermen’s Friends, enjoyed it.The Iceland order arrived early. Got quite a bit of fresh meat for Mr SA and it all looks good quality. All bagged up and in the freezer now and no need to buy any more for a month 👍 Had to do a bit of a freezer shuffle but it all fits in. Will probably do another Iceland shop at the end of June. The Amazon order is delayed and won’t be here until tomorrow or the day after - oh well.
Mr SA seems ok this afternoon, he had sausage sandwiches for his lunch and is already asking about his dinner.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -

I loved Fisherman’s friends - we watched it a local cinema which had closed down and has been taken over by a local family which have brought it back to its former glory- actually better than its former self. Comfortable seats and reasonable snacks - they have very different listings to the big chains. We’d had vouchers bought us to see a film - it’s a pound or so dearer than the chains but feels like a special treat.
Your Iceland shop sounds really good. I do like Iceland but my nearest one is a couple of miles away so I only go if I need something particular.
Hope you are in the sunshine with a book ☀️📖January spends - £587.586 -
Not the best day today. Mr SA started being sick at 4am and pretty much carried on all day. DD has had to get his wheelchair out because he can’t walk at all. He keeps going dizzy and has had a bad fall, amazed he didn’t knock himself out as he banged his head on a table. He’s been having pains in his head where his VP shunt is and I’m wondering if fluid has been building up in his brain. If he’s no better tomorrow I’ll have to ring the doctors as the shunt might need looking at.
He’s not eaten all day but has had a slice of toast just now. Hopefully this will stay down.
I managed to fit in a run this morning when he was asleep. Apart from that seem to have done nothing but clear up sick and wee 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
