Glad Mr SA seems improved, it must have been terrifying for him to lose his sight! Hopefully it's a blip and won't happen again. (((hugs)))I've had a couple of Iceland deliverys and had no problems with them. The coleslaw and potato salad are nice, as are the indian and chinese 'takeaways' (the numbered ones) which are really good value at £1.59 according to my OH
But they don't really cater for vegetarians with ready meals.:(

I usuallly shop at Iceland once a month, they have a few things I like I can’t get anywhere else. After my unpleasant experience when I visited the shop a few weeks ago I was resigned to going without until things improved. The queues outside are always horrendous. Free delivery if you spend £35 too 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Yes it was me SSG 😁
Been our to local shops today, Mr T Express and Savers. I still find it alarming to see folks in masks, I’ve no plans to wear one unless it becomes compulsory. Savers have a really good system in place, only 4 in at a time, one way system with aisle ends blocked off so you really can only go one way, baskets cleaned as they’re put back and someone at the door supervising, no qualms about going in there 👍The local flower shop has reopened and reclassified as a garden centre. They had some hanging baskets, not overly fancy but thought I might buy one. Good job I asked the price first, the one I was looking at only had a couple of petunias in a white plastic basket, was £15, the others were £20-30 😱 So went online and ordered one from a local nursery that supplies the council with their plants for £12.99 free delivery 👍 This is where I got my other plants from that arrived earlier this week, good prices and fantastic quality.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I think it’s so sad that some people are cashing in on what’s happening. They are ridiculous prices and more fool those who pay them.Glad you got one from the other place. 😊 💐I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Just been out with the dog to the local house selling the plants where I went last week. Got a cherry tomato plant and 2 sunflowers. Next year I’m definitely going to grow my own from seed. Need to get a greenhouse. We came back via some really steep steps at the bottom of my road, forgot what hard work they are - even the dog was panting. You can’t go anywhere round here without encountering a really steep hill, it’s not for the faint hearted 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I agree there are a lot of people putting prices up. I tried to get fence paint - it was 2 for £19 at screwfix but they’d sold out - I looked online £30 for 1.....not a chance of me buying that 😨😡
im pleased Mr SA has settled down again - so worrying for you all.January spends - £587.587 -
That looked a really steep hill.

They’re all like that where I live. Our road is on the flat but all the roads running off it are steep. You go down a hill into the valley then have to go back up the other side. Nightmare when it’s icy.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
