So it begins...
Just had an email from Mr M, delivery slots will be reduced and they won’t be accepting bag returns for the time being. As I don’t have access to a car I rely on home deliveries so have just had to book deliveries for the next 3 weeks before they get snapped up - aargh 😩
I know it’s only March but I’ll be glad to see the back of this year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning folks 😎
This weekend will be a quiet one, no GKs coming. Going to WW this morning then the plan is to clean the house, do some decluttering, take the dog out, meal plan and just generally potter for 2 days. Quite looking forward to it 😁
Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

I think it might be bad news re the holiday

I have just heard that as well about Jet 2 .com . I think other holiday companies will follow suit .Have a nice weekend SA just pottering.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Yes I think the April holiday will be cancelled by Jet2, we’re not due to go until end of April but I think they’re cancelling flights until at least the end of April. Fingers crossed for Ibiza in August. It is what it is, we can book again for the end of the year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Forgot to add I’m on a few Lanzarote FB groups and folks have been sat on the plane then told the flight is cancelled. Some planes have turned back mid flight 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Apparently Jet2 have cancelled the flights because of the bars, restaurants and attractions closing down for 14 days in mainland Spain, Canaries and Balearics. So we shall see whether our holiday is affected as we still have 6 weeks. I will await an email/text from Jet2 and not write it off yet. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is the mantra right now 🙏
In other news I lost half a pound at WW, better than nothing I suppose. There was hardly anyone there. There were loads of toilet rolls in Iceland this morning and folks were just walking past them rather than buying.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
All caught up! Sorry to hear about the holiday, I thought of you as soon as the announcements were made. A friend of mine had actually checked in at the airport for her hol to Tenerife this morning, and then it popped up on the departure lounge screen that it was cancelled
.
Another fan of Eleanor Oliphant here too! Xx
