To add insult to injury I was just sitting down for a minute looking at my phone, he appeared and said come on get the dinner on  We don’t usually eat until 7.30 pm. Patience is wearing very thin. Won’t repeat my reply it wasn’t polite.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I’m not surprised your comment wasn’t very polite...mine wouldn’t have been either.

I've just caught up with your diary SA. I'm so sorry to hear about your awful accident. I suppose it could have been so much worse and I'm grateful it wasn't. Perhaps one day you could try telling Mr SA what's for dinner and leave the ingredients out for him and tell him how to cook them while saying you need to rest?
Anyway I hope you have a great Christmas and that you enjoy the work do.

Morning folks
One week down, five to go. Can't believe a week has passed already.
Checked this morning and it looks like my manager has cancelled my leave so I've gained 4 days towards next year's hols.
The dog is desperate to go out but it's pouring with rain. Under normal circumstances I would've taken her despite the rain but obviously Mr SA can't. He's creeping this morning and has decorated my frame with tinsel ready for the meal.
Spoke to the theatre and the seats we have are fine for my leg thankfully. They said Front of House will help me to my seat. It's 3 years since we last went to the panto and I had a broken ankle then. Unbelievable coincidence.
DS is 35 today :eek:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Typical - my appointment for bunion surgery came through today for end of the month. Same leg as broken one. Unbelievable. Phoned them and I’ve to reschedule when I’m able.
Enjoyed my meal out despite them taking the mickey out of me. Glad I went. Food was top notch - veg falafel starter, butternut squash tagine for main and Prosecco cheesecake for desert
Weather dire all dayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
So glad you enjoyed the meal.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Love the sound of Prosecco cheesecake. My response to Mr SA would not have been polite either. I think he could probably cook under supervision. Even my stepdad who has dementia is capable of preparing veg etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
